TIMING for getting gear
I've been playing WOW for 3 months now and have a 63 lock, affliction spec. on Arathor. I'm more of a casual player and have been taking my time leveling, questing for the most part since the pugs I've been in have rarely held together in instances.
My idea is this: since I'm leveling fast enough for my taste it does not seem to make any sense to continue to knock my head against a wall with pugs hoping for instance gear. Instead, I should wait til I hit '70 and pvp til my eyes bleed to get that gear, and move on from there. Any thoughts? |

Re: TIMING for getting gear
These days most people don't do a lot of instances while leveling. So yes, leveling up and taking quest rewards till you hit 70 is a good idea. Once you get to 70 then it's up to you how you want to get gear. If you like PvP and you want that gear then farm the BGs and arena. If you like PvE then join a guild. It will be easier to form 5mans that can actually finish the instances, as well as get into raids for even better gear.
