Quick question that hopefully someone knows the answer to, because I've been googling and googling and haven't come up with anything.. but does anyone know the rough +DPS the 4pT8 bonuses give respectively? |

depends on the spec for deep destro, incinerate is 50% of your damage. 5% crit should then be 2.5% more damage. If you have 4k dps thats 100 dps. Simcraft can give you the precice numbers, but I don't remember them right now. |

Woops, also forgot to ask about 2pT8 aswell. I'm wondering because I'm trying to figure out if it's more worth it to just use the T8 Gloves and Shoulders, then use Collar of the Wyrmhunter, Robes of the Umbral Brute, and Leggings of the Wanton Spellcaster. |

4 piece t8 is shown to be a better dps increase for any of the lock specs than any other combination of gear. At a high end ulduar gear level 4 piece bonus is like 150 dps increase. The 2 other pieces you could wear and not get 4 piece do not amount to that big of a dps change. The pieces you want 4 piece from are shoulders,chest, legs, and helm. Replace the gloves with something else there are several better options. |

Keep in mind the gear used is gear that I either already have or is in my reach. Suggesting that I throw away my chest and headpiece for T8.5 would replace my haste with an overload of hit, and would increase my critical strike chance overall by just over 3%, with the increase of my incinerates crit by 5%. I understand that incinerate is our most spammed skill, but I'm critting most of the time anyway in a fully raid buffed enviornment, so I just don't see it as worth it to increase it. Anyway, if anyone knows the mathcrafting behind the tier bonus I wouldn't mind taking a look at it :o Not doubting what you're saying at all, I'm just speculating. |
