Badge gear options
I just hit 80 about a week ago and have amassed a few badges and am wondering what the best route for gear is. Right now I have Faerlina's Madness and Heigan's Putrid Vestments from Naxx25 so I'm not sure that the T8.5 peices are the best option for upgrades at this point since my Offhand, trinkets and rings suck. I'm also sitting on the key to EoE25 so just have to wait for a Maly kill for a nice neckpiece upgrade. This leaves me in a position with 1pc of T8.5 (gloves out of VoA) and in a quandry about where to spend the badges first. Any suggestions? I'm thinking that Ward of the Violet Citadel/Band of Channeled Magic might be the way to go.. but I'm certainly not against picking up a tier piece for the bonus. It's just maddening.. all the choices.. heh! |

I agree sundial and violet citadel first. Grind H ToC to fill in the rest of your gear. You are missig out on the set bonuses though. I'm trying to split 2 set bonuses from tier 8.5 and 9. The hardest thing for me so far has been offhand, wand, and trinkets. Specifically Illustration of the dragon soul, eye of the brood mother, and dying curse for trinkets. Then surplus limb or the fuel manual for offhand. Petrified ivory sprig will be my next wand. Hope this gives you some direction. I also spent badges on evokers charm and I bought the combustion bracers to get me started raiding.
