Demonic pact specced demo locks typically don't have any talent points to spare, so it's rather hard to find points to put into suppression. Non-DP specced demo locks have enough points to put into suppression, but a demo lock without demonic pact makes no sense :D

Actually the original poster is a jack of lots of specs, and master of bugger all.

I'm currently playing with 0.14.57 thanks to hundred's of hit from Ulduar and tier.

I prefer soul link & shadowfury to the 2% crit I could get from backlash - I feel far too flimsy without shadowfury & soul-link. I'm not a mage, I'm a grumpy gnoam lock who takes a battering and keeps on grinning.

Back on topic:

@ Cursalock - you're right, was a simple mistake - was typing at work and couldn't get to the sets at that time.

@ thetrueavatar (& lilsteele) - thanks for the advice in other thread about priority casting, and I will likely push for merlin robe + 4 T9 filling up other sockets.

@jenren22 - when we have more than 5 other casters of my dps or higher, i'll drop to demo role. Usually we're a melee-centric guild...which doesn't help - but have put me point forward. Unfortunately i'm on CoE duty usually along with rarely a boomkin, SP or shaman for comfort. One day I'll force em to support us casters, but rogues & warriors shining very brightly in our guild for single target PvE :/

Not that there is anything wrong with it, but there are tools that can do it for you on the fly nowadays
@ the op: the best way to know which item will give you the biggest dkp increase is by using RhadaTip. If you have 2 items that you can buy, and wanna know which combo of two items is best (ie you don't want to buy one, and then find out the other, but find out both before buying the first one), you will have to use RhadaTip in combo with WoWEquip. There is a youtube video here that will show you how to do it.

In addition to the ilvl 258 T9 tokens dropping only in Grand Crusader 25, it is worth nothing that they only drop from the Tribute Chest that spawns after Anub'arak is down, in a quantity determined by your number of remaining attempts.

I was very fortunate to pick up my 2pc 245 from VOA 25, but the legs and gloves are the first two pieces I would purchase regardless of one's luck in Archavon's magical loot lottery.
