Re: Emblems of Conquest, now what?

I used Mark of the War Prisoner from VH until I won a roll for Dying Curse from Naxx25. My wow-heroes is 2508 and I'm still using Dying Curse. It's a damn fine trinket.

Also, at 38,000 honor Deadly Gladiator's Cloak of Ascendancy is a great buy and gets you over the hit-cap. The one from ToC is better, but if you can't get it to drop...get the pvp one. Not many are better.

Also, remember that you don't have to match gem color to the socket. You won't get the socket bonus if you don't, but many times it's better to skip the socket bonus. You have several pieces of gear that can be gemmed better to help you more.

I agree about the PVP cloak. I leveled 78-80 in AV and one of the first things I bought with my honor was that cloak.

Yeah, the PvP gear available can be a useful choice for gearing, in lieu of drops or more emblem spend. Of course, this assumes that you step for into a battleground or arena (I do the former).

The Deadly cloaks and Deadly necklaces are pretty handy. I've bought several flavors of each, some with hit some without, so that I can mix and match for my stats. Also, with patch 3.2, there are new Titan-Forged items from WG that are even better, and also can boost the stats.

To answer the OP, if you PvP: thought about buying Deadly Gladiator gear? That's a good use of emblems, if you haven't acquired them already.

RhadaTip will tell you which item is the biggest upgrade, and should therefore be bought first. If you need to go n items ahead (ie you can buy 2, or buy 1 and get another one crafted) you will also need WoWEquip. You can see how I answer this question here.
