What 4 peices too get your bonus with?
Should i get my pants/gloves/chest/shoulders and keep my Hood of smoldering aftermath? Or get the helm instead of the chest and use merlins robe? If I keep the merlins robe and replace the hood of smoldering then i'll have to find the hit somewhere els. |

Personally, I've decided to go with trophy pants/gloves and buy emblem gear to fill head/shoulders. The chest is a gimme IMO as a craftable, but the head and shoulders are terrible when you have to spend DKP on the trophy, plus emblems. As you can see, it is very personalized, it's cheaper for me to spend DKP and emblems separately after the 2 piece set bonus. The head/shoulder tier gear have less dps than the emblem head/shoulder until you factor in the 4pc set bonus, but if you are like me, you have to spend dkp on the trophy plus emblems, and you are better off spending emblems on emblem gear plus dkp on other upgrades independantly ........ .......if that makes any sence |

Well i did originally go with what Evictoray said, but i won the gloves from VoA so was sat with a 3rd piece in the bank, so decided to go for the full four. It does depend on your situation, but since you said you don't have to worry about dkp... I managed to dig out your profile and obviously with your hit rating if you dropped your helm for the T9 helm, you would lose alot of hit but you would gain the hit if you also took up the T9 chest. Personally i think the Merlins robe is the best piece to have as your non piece, so i wouldn't recommend that option. I can't really tell you up front what is best, you really need to run a simcraft or use a spreadsheet which can really tell you the true value of taking up the 4 set bonus. |
