Farm for the trinklet that drops in ToC (the normal 5 man instance!). It's called abyssal rune. I don't see a point in getting one T8 piece right now. It's only worth dropping the Anub robe if you can get the T8 set bonus with it. Here's you're lootrank, using affliction scale factors with T8 gear (from the simcraft website): GuildOx - WoW Guild Progress and Loot Rankings You can see that the Emblem of Conquest legs are quite a nice upgrade, as are the Triumph Shoulders/Head. Also the crafted Spellsinger slippers are a huge buff, as is the crafted girdle. On the other hand the T8 head/chest are only minor upgrades stat-wise, and really only pay off if you can get two of them. In the end you will have to decide what to get first ;) |

OK primary stats for affliction locks - 1. hit (until capped), 2. spell power, 3 Crit! Haste should be way downranked for affliction locks mainly since dot's do not benefit from Haste. Ok things you might want to upgrade: 1. Your belt Emblems of Conquest as you said you had 50 ([Sash of Potent Incantations]) The badge belt is actually very good for affliction it has got the prime stats for it really, Crit which increases your damage a lot more than haste does mainly since DoT-s benefit from crit and they don't benefit from haste. And it also has spirit on it, which basically increases pure +spell power which for affliction locks is the primary stat. This is in case ofc you don't buy the crafted "Cord of the white dawn" but that is a lot more expensive and imo not really worth the expense at this moment anymore due to equally good belts being dropped from ToC. 2. T9 shoulders for EoT - major upgrade in stats over your t7 3. Emblem of Conquest leggings from the vendor ([Legwraps of the Master Conjurer]) Those are the 3 items you should in my opinnion change 1st and those would give you the highest benefit at the moment. 4. You may consider getting the crafted Boots - Savior's slippers namely - the ones with the +crit 5. Also consider buing EoV robe for casters once you get the badges. |
