Taking the fact that its going to either be MR+4 or HSA+4, I'll do some comparisons filling in the rest of the gear and see which ends up higher.

Which yielded:
Spellpower = 2362
Hit = Capped (369)
Haste = 548
Crit = 572
Spirit = 394

DPS ~4495


finishing out the Merlin's Robe +4 Set I used:
Cry of the Val'kyr
Shroud of Displacement
Bejeweled Wizards Bracers
Belt of Biting Cold
Boots of Icy Floe
Band of the Invoker
Firestorm Band
Reign of the Dead
Flare of the Heavens
Barb of Tarasque
Talisman of Heedless Sins

Which yielded:
Spellpower = 2356
Haste = 507
Hit = ~capped (364)
Crit = 775
Spirit = 233

DPS ~4488

So, both options are going to be ~ the same depending on what gear you have available.
