Linken's Sword of Mastery
Just finished the level 56 elite linkens chain which ends in It's Dangerous to Go Alone (Elite), and I love my new Linken's Sword of Mastery and my new trinket, Linken's Boomerang. Sword has a natrual blue glow and is the same size as me :lol:. Also is fast enough to proc it self and a firestone equipped to it. All i need is Fiery Enchant and I WILL BE ONE OF THE BEST MELEE LOCKS OUT THERE  . I already hit in the low 100s on regular melee non-crit.Will post a SS when I get home from school :D

Heh...Wanted this sword since I was 48, took me 2 lvls to get it. You will not put me down. And im too lazy to raise my dagger skill....because i like to hit sutff. Sword at the max. And hitting stuff can sometimes be stronger than casting spells in my case, OR having another 110+ hp.

lol gratz hehe, i vendored the boomerang, i have wayy too many trinkets. I didnt know linkens sword had natural glow, thats cool. I've been using firestone at level 57 was my first time trying one and they actually own. Proc rate is pretty high, i was pretty surprised.

Well if I knew what dagger you were talking about Bigbird I might agree but as yet still haven't even been to the crater hehe. Overall though this sword is probally > Thrashblade since it has that damage proc that would go with my firestone. Mulk |

Linken's Sword of Mastery
I like the Sword of Serenity a lot more than linken's. Pretty much the same DPS, easier to get, can get much sooner, and it has +9sta. My current problem is that if I melee, I draw agro. Pretty much anything more than Curse of Agony+Corruption will put agro on me instead of VW. More melee DPS isn't good for me. More stats work even when I don't melee. :( |

Lifeforce Dirk it's almost easier to get than Linken's Sword. it's the dagger i'm still using with an off-hand. |

Nice Warlock dagger! Personally, I'm sticking with swords, though. The +5 skill bonus for humans is HUGE. Unbalancing huge. You basically never miss and cap your weapon skill in the first xp bubble. 'Course if I end up melee'ing less as I level up, perhaps I'll go pure stats and just grab whatever has the best ones. |

Though personally, I think there should have been an alternate version of that quest that had you take the drop and turn use it to empower an item of some sort. You could pick the original quest or the alternate quest, and picking one would make it impossible to complete the other. Give that kind of power to a druid so he can release it back into the wild? As a warlock, I think not! While I love the quests in this game, too many of them only allow you to "do the right thing". I think it would be nice if there were alternate choices available in some of the quests that would allow you to play in character a bit more - and encourage that in character thought process by producing a reward that was more in line with your class (possibly even class specific in some circumstances). |
