Tentacular Belt vs. Cord of the Slain Champion
Sooo... I'm seeing good arguments for either as being BIS... I currently have the 397 version of Cord and enough Valor to buy Tentacular... and I can't see a reason to. Anybody have a good argument as to what I'm missing? Only have 397 T13 Shoulders currently (and Reg T12 Chest Legs and Hands) and pretty much bought everything else I need from Valor. |

As a Demo lock, the mastery from the Tentacular belt would benefit you the most. You can always reforge the crit off of it. I personally would recommend the Sash of Relentless Truth. Granted it only has the one socket, but it has haste and mastery stats and 20+ more intellect which out-weigh the other belts' second socket imo. |

Yeah, I'm hoping to get that as a drop. Just was confused by the supposed Better itemization on The Tentacular belt when the Cord gives better Int. Mastery on the Tentacular is looking pretty good. The secondary stats on Sash of Relentless Truth are great but INT is our primary stat and the extra INT from the other belts make them better. Unfortunately only Cord has a Heroic version thus it becomes BiS. To OP: Since you already have the Cord, keep it. If you need gold, buy BoE valor gear and sell it. If you don't need the gold, buy the Tentacular Belt so you can transmog the Cord.
