Felshroud & Dreadgear

I'm not completely sure if everyone's seen the new PvP gear for the Burning Crusade, but after my post in the previous PvP thread I decided to look for more on the new gear, pictures too as soon as I can get my hands on them!

Felshroud and Dreadgear:

Felshroud:

Armor 764
Stamina 216
Intellect 71
Durability 330
Spell Damage 145
Resilience rating 110
Critical strike rating 110

Dreadgear:

Armor 613
Stamina 234
Intellect 90
Durability 330
Spell Damage 147
Resilience rating 107

Set bonuses for both sets are:
2: Increases resilience rating by 35
4: Reduces the casting time of your Immolate spell by 0.2 seconds

Sockets:
2 Red Sockets
1 Blue Socket
3 Yellow Sockets
1 Meta Socket

Each sets cost a total of 8250 Arena Tokens.

As an Affliction Warlock, I'm going for the Dreadgear because critical strike rating is of no use to me. Not to mention the extra stamina boosts my survivability with 5 points in Demonic Embrace.

Re: Felshroud & Dreadgear

Well, I hope thats not the level 70 set..

If so its worse than plagueheart is, in alot of ways
Less Sta
Less int
Less +damage
crappier set bonuses

its in the felheart / nemesis range of gear, and has zero resists on it to boot.. what crap is this.

As another note..I guess the above PvP set isn't that bad afterall, in fact its awesome..I was comparing it to plagueheart, but the one thing I dind't take into consideration:

Plaguehearts total set is made of NINE items.
This pvp set is only five items.

Re: Felshroud & Dreadgear

For the green Netherweave there's no sockets, crit or intellect.

The blue oblivian set is comparable and nice, but no crit.

Yeah, Plagueheart is really good. Consider what it would take for you and 39 buddies to be able to gear up enough to finish Naxxramas, starting from scratch, even at level 70.

None of those sets have resilience, the 150+ total from the arena set means you're crit 4% less often and the crits you recieve do 8% less damage.

The Felshroud and Dreadgear have different bonuses to the gloves, the fel is 50% less interuption on Searing Pain, dread is 50% less interuption on fear. I would go for the Dreadgear set. I like the gloves bonus and stamina, dread has 8 to hit rating too.

Re: Felshroud & Dreadgear

I did forget to mention they were only 5 pieces, yes. Sorry about that. I suppose the dreadgear is more of an affliction set, hence the 50% chance not to interrupt a fear cast, what would affliction warlocks want with 50% to searing pain? =)

Yup, Felshroud was added for Destruction fanboys like me - finally we got some attention.
