Re: Ultimate fear macro!!!! help
CoR cancel fear, but fear stays there so if you put another curse, the fear will remain there... |

Ok, now I'm probably gonna look dense, but why cast curse of shadows? |

Re: Ultimate fear macro!!!! help
Fear is shadow based so reducing the target's shadow resist would be handy. |

Re: Ultimate fear macro!!!! help
Well first it makes sure your fear isnt resisted and that it lasts longer, then you have to put it on to take off curse of recklesness. So fear + curse of shadows equals longer fear and fear + curse of recklesness brings mob back then add curse of shadows to send him off in fear again. |

Re: Ultimate fear macro!!!! help
CoR cancels Fear This statement is misleading, though most of the posters above have the right idea. CoR doesn't cancel Fear, it cancels the fear effect that causes the mob to run away. Fear is still on the mob, CoR just makes them immune to the effect of being feared. When you change curses on the mob the fear effect resumes as long as the Fear Spell hasn't expired, and the mob runs away again. Why use CoS? Curse of Shadows lowers the target's shadow resistance. This is a good spell to use on mobs that are more likely to resist your spells than others before casting another spell such as fear or banish. I personally tend to use Curse of Agony for added damage on the mob as it runs around while I focus on another target. The Macro The castsequence macro listed above appears to be exactly what you were originally asking for, and yes you can have the same spell repeated in a cast sequence. However I do not think this is the best solution for a macro. It leaves you very few options should something not go according to plan, and things rarely go to plan. I suggest using modifiers and left/right button swaps to make your macro. Something like: shift mouse button 1 sets focus and casts fear mouse button 1 casts fear on focus mouse button 2 casts CoS shift mouse button 2 casts CoR I don't know the exact wording for the above macro I laid out and I don't want to leave something that isn't correct. If anyone else knows how it should be written, please post it up here.

Fear Pong Macro
Tested this morning - seems to work as intended: /clearfocus [modifier:alt] /focus [target=focus, noexists]; [target=focus, dead] /clearfocus [target=focus, help] /stopcasting /cast [button:1,target=focus,exists,harm] Fear /cast [button:2,target=focus,exists,harm] Curse of Recklessness Sets Focus to Current Target and Casts Fear(left click) Right Click Casts Curse of Recklessness Alt and Click Clears Focus What do you guys think? |

Re: Fear Pong Macro
I have something similar except my last line is something like (not near my wow computer to be able to check exactly) /castsequence [button:2,target=focus,exists,harm] Curse of Recklessness (Rank 1), Curse of Weakness (Rank 1) here I use the Rank 1 of the spells as it saves mana, and I put the sequence in so when I click button2 the mob runs towards me, then click it again and it runs away again, repeat as needed |

I am also not confident in my understanding of /castsequence macros - I am a keybinder, and use mouse buttons just to handle Curses and CC - is there a way to clear the sequence when I cast Fear so I don't have to worry about mistakenly casting CoW when I wanna cast CoR and having the mob run too far away? |
