Casting Macro

Currently i'm using this macro.

/castsequence reset=combat/target Corruption(Rank 8), Siphon Life(Rank 6), Curse of Agony(Rank 7), Unstable Affliction(Rank 3), Immolate(Rank 9), Incinerate(Rank 2)

But, if i'm fighting say a fire resistant mob, i would like to use a modifiier like "alt" to start recasting Corruption...etc..etc...

can anyone help me?

Re: Casting Macro

do you mean that if you hit alt you want it to restart the cast sequence? I think you did the "..." a little to early without fully explaining what you want.

Re: Casting Macro

How about something like
/castsequence [modifier:alt] fire-resistant-sequence
/stopmacro [modifier:alt]
/castsequence default-castsequence

Then it would be
/castsequence reset=combat/target/alt Corruption, Siphon Life, Curse of Agony, Unstable Affliction, Immolate, Incinerate

If you strip the ranks of a spell it will always cast the highest rank you have.

I tried it and it works fine, but what makes me wonder, is there any way to let yourselve know the sequence is done?

I mean if you calculate it correctly, this can go on endless right?

Re: Casting Macro

Duckie, if you assign the questionmark icon for the macro, it will automatically update the macro icon with whatever the current spell in the sequence is. So you can tell by looking which spell it is on.
