Request - Mod to hide interface when casting a targeted aoe
I had a mod back in 2006 an i cant remember the name but when you first used Rain of fire or any aoe that used the green target area it would automatically hide your UI so you could target better then show it again when you stared to cast. Anyone remember this or know where i can get again? Thanks in advance |

Re: [Request]Mod to hide interface when casting a targeted aoe
You might be able to macro this pretty simply. There is keybinding you can use to hide your UI (alt-z be default) so I'm sure there is a / command to do the same thing. You should be able to set up something like this... /hideui /Rain of Fire /showui I'm not sure if that would work properly or not, but I'm thinking that the macro would stop at line 2 until you click to cast the spell, then finish. I'm sure someone lurking around here can give a definitive answer on this, as well as get the correct commands for show/hide ui.

Re: [Request]Mod to hide interface when casting a targeted aoe
kira, thats a really good idea but I don't think it will work. I'm pretty sure that the game runs all lines of a macro and executes them at once. So even though you would be waiting on the target to successfully cast the RoF, it would go ahead to the next line of the macro and show the UI. |
