Shard Ace
Shard Ace Download from: [ WoW Interface ] Rating: Low rating mostly due to lack of exposure and Warlocks using it.Description: Shard tracking and management, spell access, quick buttons for healthstones, soul stones and spell stones. Similar to Necrosis but smaller on screen and still being updated to support new versions. It's also written with ACE so you can keep it updated with the wowace updater. Member comments: I prefer it over necrosis. There are simply too many features of necrosis that I didn't use. ShardAce is the most simple and efficient mod for managing warlock spells, perfect for the minimalists. ~ Debuff ShardAce has exactly what i want and no more. Necrosis attempted far too much trying to take over spell bars and such. I use Bongos for that, all I want is simple tracking of shards and stones, which is what Shardace gives. I have problems keeping an eye on other people's buffs, so the announcement that your soulstone is expired is perfect as well. ~ Ohmresist ShardAce is the only warlock-specific add on I use. All the others seem either bloated or redundant compared to general purpose add-ons which do the same things for multiple classes. Definitely a must-have. ~ Vorph

Re: Shard Ace
I use eeShards as a Fubar addon for a very lightweight approach to shard management instead. |

Re: Shard Ace
I use this and I adore it. It has buttons that go around the minimap and very importantly don't take up alot of screen space. That's why I didn't like about Necrosis and it's giant button. You have little buttons that hover outside the minimap. Clicking one brings up all the Warlocky spells; demon summons, Ritual of Souls, Banish, etc. Clicking another button conjures/uses a Soulstone. Clicking another does the same for Spellstone, Firestone, and Healthstone. Left clicking the "Warlocky" spells button also sorts your soul shards into your soul shard bag, if you have one. I also use eeShards to make sure I don't go over a certain number of shards while farming. Together these will make any Warlock's life easier and more fun. |

Re: Shard Ace
You don't need eeShards for that; ShardAce also has a maxshards function as well as a thing to make sure the shards always get sorted into the correct bag. I have mine set to 28 to fill an Ebon Shadowbag and it works great. |

Re: Shard Ace
This is the only warlock specific addon I run as well. Nice & minimalistic. I have it set horizontally at the end of my pet bar w/o spell/firestone shown. Used to use Necrosis, but found it to be way too bloated for what I wanted. ClassTimers is run on all my toons & ShardAce fills in the "warlocky" stuff. |

Re: Shard Ace
Displays the information clearly and simply, and gives me quick and easy access to healthstones. The popout buttons allow many non-combat spells to be removed from action bars (I never have enough action buttons), and the messages sent to raid or party chat make my life easier as well. I will admit however, that I pinched the soulstone alert from Necrosis and used it to replace the screaming hag provided with this addon. I found that noise unpleasant, and distracting. |

Re: Shard Ace
Using forte warlock showing only during raids, got a spell on my spellbar which uses shards so always have a direct overview of how many shards I have outside of raids |
