Very, very handy add-on. With the options of completely customising the duration, frequency and content of your raid warnings I only recently stopped using this in favour of Forte. If you don't use Forte, you do want to use this

i never even knew this one existed but i for one will be downloading it as soon as i get home......im the only lock with our guild hitting kara so im always on curse duty and banish duty so this addon will be a must have for me |

I generally just use focus macroes without announcements for this stuff. Most of the people I run with have NECB, so having announcements is just more spam. My thought is instead of spamming everyone, the people that need to care about CC can install NECB or similar mod for themselves. |

I've used Uberbanish for quite awhile now. I originally got it for banishing duty during my MC days (Garr's adds), and have kept it since. It has a handy little mod, where if you die during the banish, it sends a /tell to the other warlocks in the raid and announces your death in chat (you can turn this all off if wanted). Also, when it spams the chat with the messages (also has an automatic countdown in chat), if there is a symbol, it will let the rest of the raid know which one to look for. Completey customizable, and very handy indeed.

Another option would be Tekkub's ControlFreak. WoWInterface Downloads : Tekkub's Emporium of Random Stuff : Control Freak Auto focus, visual and audible warning and working out-of-the-box. |

"DoTimer + Focus macro does the job much more efficiently imo." you miss the point of this addon. it's to let your raid know how long is left on the banish and to auto-whisper other locks in your party if you die while banishing so they can pick it up. it's not just a banish timer for you.
