LockNotes
Poll to find out how Warlocks rate the add-on LockNotes and what they have to say about it. LockNotes | World of Warcraft Addons | World of Warcraft @ Curse.com Description This is a small mod that simply displays when one of your spells is resisted, along with a short sound clip. Works great in both PvE and PvP, for when you cast two spells back to back and just see a resist message, and you aren't quite sure which one was resisted without checking your target's debuffs. Also just makes the already mindless activity of dot'ing even easier. ;P This mod also includes spell notifications for PvP. It will say when an enemy gains Spell Reflect, Nether Protection, etc... and when they fade. Also alerts you when you gain Shadow Trance (the Nightfall buff), Blessing of Protection/Freedom, and if your Fel Armor is dispelled. Unfortunately this mod only supports warlock spells. I am far from an experienced coder; this was just a mod that I had previously written for myself that I decided to release to the public since I got so many requests for it. If you'd really like to customize the mod for a different class, just open the .lua file and edit the spell names... it's rather easy to edit it, even if you have no LUA experience. It is also not customizable in any way. If you'd like to change something, just open the .lua file and find what you need to edit like I mentioned above. However, I doubt anyone will really want to change much anyway. Just install the mod in the appropriate directory and you're good to go (no /slash commands needed to enable it).

Re: LockNotes
This is almost a PvP recommended addon, as it flashes up in the middle of the screen whenever your oppenant uses an ability thats affects your spells. i.e. when a rogue pops his Cloak of Shadows, or another lock procs Nether Protection. Definatly handy so you know when to switch from shadow to fire spells. |

Re: LockNotes
I love this addon because I have an "okay" computer and it doesn't take up too much memory, so everything still runs well. It is great for PvP, but raiding is nice, too. You'll never miss an ISB prock and you'll always have Fel Armor refreshed. My favorite feature is when you cast a spell that is resisted, it tells you which spell was resisted, so you don't have to look through your icons to figure it out. Gets my approval, for sure .

Thankyou everyone for their votes and opinions on it. At this time, this will not be included as a recommended add-on.

Re: LockNotes
Actually I have been using this addon for a while and it is great. It basicly reads the combat log and gives you instant messages . Especially in chaotic combats like 5v5 arena it fits perfect that you can easily miss a "miss" or spell reflection, death wish, CloS or any other action. Best part is that you can easily edit the lua file as you like. You can create messages for specific situations and easily monitor them during combat. And finally this addon may works for every class. All they have to do is editing the lua file depending on their class.

Simple, but effective addon. Very useful for PvP and somewhat useful for PvE. |
