If you use a g15 and you hit one of the G keys it over rides all other commands. I've got the G15 with 3 profiles and 18 macros. I'm pretty sure I could almost program entire fights into the thing at this point. Anyhow try having 2 macros instead of 1 orrr rework your keybindings. I have 2 LTs present, I make one like f10 which is akward to press, until I bind G# that is closer to be f10. Also remember for longer macros on the g15 you have to place in waits, otherwise it'll spam the server w/ no results. Latency affects/destroys g15 macros. |

/use 13 and 14 are the commands to use your trinkets - 13 being the top one, 14 the bottom one. |

you'll need Bindpad or some other macro addon for this because it's over 255 characters but here's one that works for me: /focus [mod:shift, target=focus, noexists] /cast [mod:shift, target=focus] Fear /stopmacro [mod:shift]; [nocombat, mod:shift] /focus [mod:ctrl, target=focus, noexists] /cast [mod:ctrl, target=focus] Banish /stopmacro [mod:ctrl]; [nocombat, mod:shift] /cast [mod:alt] Howl of Terror /stopmacro [mod:alt] /cast [nomod:alt/shift/ctrl] Fear Shift = Fear focus, if no focus, then set target as focus and fear. Ctrl = Banish focus, if no focus, then banish and set focus Alt = Howl of Terror Nomod = Fear target I've got more that will only work if you have a macro addon, let me know if you're interested. |

Re: Warlock Macros - Suggestions & "Must Haves"
I don't do dailies on my Lock anymore, but macros made doing them TONS easier, and are fantastic for my alts that still need to do rep dailies - mainly because I hate having to click. Here are a few examples: For those kissing those darn frogs - /cleartarget /tar Lake Frog /use Warts-B-Gone Lip Balm /kiss Drake quest /tar Nexus Drake Hatchling /use Raelorasz's spear Forgot the name of this daily - but if you're doing it, you'll recognize it: /tar Orgrim's Hammer Scout /use Dart Gun /cleartarget I've toyed with the idea of some raid specific macros, but haven't done any yet. Maybe some others have? |

I use 4 keys total, while grinding/leveling/farming. 1st = Haunt 2nd = Macro Listed Below 3rd = Dark Pact 4th = Howl of Terror There are a couple "Oh Sh*t " buttons that come in handy, but they aren't regularly used so I won't include them. Quote:
but Quote:
Works just the same, it will cast UA first, a second press of the key while UA is on CD will cast Curse of Agony, and a 3rd while UA is still on CD does Corr. The first one is what I've been using since level 40. The only addition I made was at level 50 (added UA to the end). As affliction, since level 40 i've been able to just run around and throw an instant tag of Curse of Agony -> Corr on everything targeted and just keep running (VW/felhunter out of course). I'm level 71 right now and can handle around 13-15 (level 70-73) mobs at once with VW/Felhunter using the exact same method. The problem with UA is that the cast time keeps you from moving, allowing mobs to catch up and hit you. It's not worth it when a simple UA/Corr combo takes the mobs down by itself. Edit: There are a couple other techniques I've used that involve this method. If anyone is interested please let me know. I am by far not a warlock expert but I'm working towards it. Just a quick tip to pvp'ers. Use a /cancelaura [mounted] *insert mount here* instead of dismount in a mount macro, then you can dismount while cc'ed. For example: #showicon Dreadsteed /use [flyable, nomounted] Bronze Drake /use [noflyable, nomounted] Dreadsteed /cancelaura [mounted] Dreadsteed /dismount [noflying, mounted] ----------------------------------------------- This macro allows me to dismoutn easily while sapped due to the /cancelaura part. It won't dimount you if you're flying either (only if you have landed with the flying mount). The mounts can be changed depending on your wants and needs of course
