Deadly Boss Mod
Deadly Boss Mod Download from: [ Deadly Boss Mods ] [ Curse Gaming ] Rating: Voted "must have" or "highly recommended" by nearly all members, you have a choice between this one or BigWigsDescription: All the bosses found in instances and raids in game have special abilities. This add-on provides timer bars, warnings and alerts for all of them. Member comments: This is a MUST HAVE!! Especially if you are a raider. Deadly boss mod keeps a great timer on the abilities of a boss mod, so it provides a good indicator when you should expect to do something to avoid it, or counteract it. For those in Gruuls Lair, for example, it will tell you when the warlock is casting a felhunter so you can be prepared to control it before it actually starts beating up on a healer. ~ Aloysia Another must have for instancing, this or at least BigWigs. I prefer the eye candy of DBM, plus it has a nice auto-reply to whispers feature. If someone /w you with "status", it'll give them an auto-reply of instance, boss, and hp remaining. It also as the Battleground stuff built-in. ~ Purson If you raid without DBM you must somehow be telepathically hacking the server (or possibly using Bigwigs) but aye, its as essential to raiding as your keyboard. ~ Theleb

MUST HAVE! In all instances and raids, bosses have spesial abilities. Deadly boss mod keeps a timer on all of them. And it also tells you when people are standing to close or to far away when it is needed. In raids it is a must have!

There is also BigWigs, but I have never actually tried it. So I will not compare that mod to this one. |

Re: Deadly Boss Mod
Much like KTM and Omen threat meters, raiding guilds pretty much require that all members run either DBM or bigwigs. Personally my guild uses DBM but I have heard that for breaking new content, bigwigs is updated more frequently. Either way, for guilds that are not doing new content, these mods are very very similar. Definitely a must have. |

Re: Deadly Boss Mod
DBM or Bigwigs are must haves for raiding guilds. Automagically puts icons over raidplayers when some boss ability goes off, Timerbars, automatic whispered warnings etc.. @Akasha: You could add Bigwigs together with DBM to the thread title. Both mods are for the same purpose and quite equal

Re: Deadly Boss Mod
An addon like this is a must have. Personally i prefer BigWings. Deadly Boss Mods is harder to update and doesnt have the 5man addon (Lilwings). Other than that, they are similar in every way. |

Re: Deadly Boss Mod
Personally prefer BigWigs too. But both are a MUST have for raiding locks.
