Re: Natur Enemy Castbar

This is a handy mod, especially for pvp. It tracks cooldowns, diminishing returns, and durations on pretty much everyone thats in range of your combat log. This can help you determine when diminishing returns on fear wear off that healer you've been CCing, or when death wish wears off so you can fear the rogue again. That being said, I've heard it's a memory hog (never slowed me down personally) and setting up can take a good bit of time and screen real estate.

Akasha: It might be worth noting that this mod when be broken in 2.4 by the combat log changes and the current author said that he will not rewrite it. It's possible that someone might pick up and continue development but it is also possible that this mod won't work or be used after 2.4 comes out.

Tried it. Way too complicated to configure for my taste. Why have an addon for this, when you have Quartz that does what Enemy CastBar does, and much more?

Re: Natur Enemy Castbar

I use it mainly to see other people's CC, but gets confusing when there's multiples up, like during moroes. It doesn't seem to utilize the raid icons. I use it's FPS and lag meters as well.

I like the thought of raids using CC monitoring mods like this rather than the spammy alternative of people installing announcing mods.

Re: Natur Enemy Castbar

I have it installed but find that it is too cluttered for BG PVP.

The real strength for NECB is the PVP enemy cooldown and diminishing returns calcs. If I could only find a way to configure the UI to capitalise.

Re: Natur Enemy Castbar

The thing I love most about NECB is the killing messages in PvP. A different message for your first 5 kills in a row, and then "GODLIKE!" for your 6th and all after, so long as you make the kills within the specified time frame.

Re: Natur Enemy Castbar

I use it for the Enemy PvP cooldown tracking and pretty much nothing else.

Does anyone know of another addon that does the same? One which shows diminishing returns, cooldowns?

Re: Natur Enemy Castbar

Just so everyone knows...NECB will not be broken come 2.4. The dev team is working on making it compatible with it as we speak.

New author management. He had a further description but I can't seem to find it at the moment.
