Recount

The SW stats - The Warlocks Den Forums poll mentions this as an alternative, so I am starting another thread to gauge feedback on this option.

Poll and discussion thread to find out how Warlocks rate the add-on Deadly Boss Mod and what they have to say about it.

Re: Recount

Its brilliant but it eats memory like a starving hobo on a steak

(I use it constantly but reset is a lot unless I'm really intruiged as to some aspect of performance that I want to analyse).

Re: Recount

it's more detailed then SW stats imo. the breakdown for individual fights, the breakdown on the spells you cast, melee swings or hunter shots... whatever floats your boat...

yea it chews up a ton of memory but I think if you fail to reset any damage meter, it tends to go down that path. just reset often.

Re: Recount

For sure, definately one to use over SW Stats - I particularly like the real-time graph analysis for some obscure reason...^^

Re: Recount

Was too buggy whenever I tried it, plus the memory-churn and usage are abhorrend.
I use Assessment. However if you want graphs, there is no alternative

Re: Recount

Absolutely my favorite damage meter to date. Lots of information available to further your personal dps and game-play. Seems to run slightly heavier than other damage meters for me but there is still no substitute to the information it can give you.

Re: Recount

It's useful. Spits out clean results and goes farther than just an add-on to show off damage. Also merges pets damage with owners (damn huters >.>). I have it set so that every time I join a party or go into an instance it asks me if I would like to reset it, so it stays clean

Trying it out couldn't hurt right?

Re: Recount

No damage meter is a "must-have"--but if you're going to use one Recount is the way to go.

Memory and network traffic-wise, it's no better or worse than the others I've tried. Since someone else mentioned Assessment, I'll say that that mod is the single worst memory hog I've seen so far.

Re: Recount

one question for all you folks using this beauty.
Previously, using SWStats it came out that plenty of my dps buddies made ridiculous damage (low i mean) while i was the shining star. I read it could have been related to having swstats not fully operational. anybody can give pointers?

thanks a lot

Re: Recount

i used recount for a while, and thought it was great - however, after comparing recount results to WWS i found that recount was constantly giving information that was wrong - example - for 3 GL fights, i was 2nd on DPS charts but it constantly show me as top DPS - it didnt for some reason show the top DPS anywhere in the DPS charts at all -.-

I was told this could be because of range factors - i have since switched to violation, with their addtional range addon, and violation results seem to match WWS results mroe closely.
