Drain Soul: When to throw it.

The obvious answer for this question is "25% health!" for warlocks at 75 or higher.

What Im wondering is this...

--Is there any Add-on available currently that can be configured to tell me when my current target has reached 25% health.

or

--Is there any Add-on that will display the health of my target in both its real value AND a percentage of its total?

I'm aware that through the configuration menus in WoW, I can have the health of my target get displayed as a percent, but to be honest, I really like to know the total of the adversary I'm fighting. Having both would be the best of both worlds.

x-perl unitframes shows both and is highly customizable.

Re: Drain Soul: When to throw it.

you can also do this in Parrot, and probably several other SCT addons. I just added a new "Trigger" to my Parrot yesterday. It checks for target health at 25%, and pops up my selected text in the dead center of my screen.

"Drain Soul!"
FTW!

I also added a trigger to alert me of each tick of DS: it makes it easier to refresh dots or cast insta-SB without losing 3- secs on DS without the associated tick.

How did you add the trigger to check target health? Oh, is there an easy way in parrot to disable everything?

I just ran into the same thing. It would be nice for someone to make an add-on that just put a percentage sign to the right of all windows. I looked at Pitbull and the others listed and those redo all the windows and look downright terrible.

So, for now, I checked out Parrot and it seems to be pretty neat, and a good stop gap.

Create a new trigger, then for the primary condition click on the drop down menu and select "enemy target health percent" and move the slider bar to 25%. It seems you can only go by 5% at a time.

I don't know how to turn all the others off early, so I will probably go through them all and disable them.

Well, that may not be completely necessary.
Do note that it will not set triggers for you that are not pertinent to you by default. Only warlocks will see "Nightfall!", and then only if it procs. For the incoming / outgoing damages, you can just delete the associated scroll areas. Triggers show up in the Notification area by default.

Re: Drain Soul: When to throw it.

i use msbt instead of parrot and have set up the same trigger. not sure if parrot can do it but i've added a sound effect with msbt.

also, pretty much any unit frame addon will show this information. i've recently gone back to pitbull since xperl is just a bit more than i need and is quite resource hungry.

Yes, Parrot allows individual sound effects, including one that says "You will die"
