Low memory/fps interface addons

Im looking for a bar addon and a player frames addon that doesn't use to much memory or screw my fps.

My computer doesnt handle to much, i really liked Dominoes and seemed to work alright. i tried X-perl but that lagged me and caused my fps to drop.

Any suggestions would be awesome.

If your after something that wont affect your frame rate go for pitbull unit frames or the simple version AG unit frames. AG is pretty much the same as pitbull but less functions which in turn less frames lost.

Depending on how adventurous you are, OpenRDX promises no negative impact to your framerate (and possibly an improvement over the default frames). I have never successfully set them up however, so your mileage may vary. There is a lot of potentially useful information on their forums.

Good luck!

Replace Pitbull/Xperl with StellarUF.
It's an awesome unitframe mod without the bloated dogtags.

Re: Low memory/fps interface addons

I think you'd be hard pushed to beat oUF Caellian (others are available) for light memory usage.
You will need to D/L oUF for it to work, and if you can live with the default layout it's really light. If you do need to modify it you will have to go into the .lua file and make the changes.

Never tried it but zBar looks to be a small addon that may be worth a try.

I made this UI based on low memory requirements for my laptop. It was based/inspired on a lot of diff UI's incl Lynn and Zork (funny how the mind works) It includes everything I need as a raiding warlock

I really like the looks of your UI. Very clean, everything you need, and nothing fancy. If you wouldn't mind, I would *love* to pick your brain about all the mods you use and how to set them up. Shoot me a line

here a screenshot from my addons folder.

I am in the process of packing it up and making it available for others, expect more in a couple of days/hours (work permitting)

Just put that in, looks really sharp. I've been looking for a less memory hogging alternative to xpearl. Only thing is, how do I configure it? There's no button, and I can't figure about any menu prompts. The website isn't providing any details either.

Re: Low memory/fps interface addons

I started playing with oUF today. I believe you have to actually update the LUA code of the addon directly (at least that's what I'm doing). This is one of the reasons that oUF is so memory light. The problem though is that this complete flexibility means it's not for someone who doesn't want to get down to the code level.
