DS tick timer
I am currently an aff lock, so I obviously cast DS at 25%. What are some (simple?) add-ons that could tell me: 1st, when the target is actually at 25%, and 2nd, show me the DS ticks? |

Re: DS tick timer
Try typing "drain soul" in the site's search function. There are several threads on some basic drain soul add ons.

Re: DS tick timer
the one I use is called drainsoultimer It tells you when the boss is at 25% with the message "Finish Him" and then it displays when each tick comes in your raid warning window Last edited by King Crab; April 07, 2009 at 04:37 PM.. |

Re: DS tick timer
HI curently im using MSBT addon with some setups of trigers, the best way to see when you need to drop Immo, DS ticks and when boss helth less then 25% I'd like to add that if you're using Mik's Scrolling Combat Text you can configure it to provide its own Drain Soul warning when the mob is below 25%. I'm not sure if Parrot or SCT can perform the same trick, but for MSBT users, - Open up MSBT config, go to the Trigger tab - Add New Trigger, input the message that will display when the trigger is satisfied. - Click on the gear icon to adjust the trigger conditions. --- Main Event: Health Change --- Unit ID = Target --- Threshold is less than 25 --- Unit Reaction = Hostile Btw this is from same forum thx to guy who posted it ![]() Miks Scrolling battletext can be configured to show DS ticks with amount and sound. That's how I've set it up: New trigger: Drain Soul mainEvents = SPELL_PERIODIC_DAMAGE sourceAffiliation= You isCrit = false skillName = Drain Soul message = Drain Soul %a soundFile = "MSBT Cooldown" (that's a light ticking sound which goes off on each tick) Place the message somewhere as 'Always Sticky' to the center of your screen, and you won't miss any ticks anymore If you need you can setup another trriger to show up when boss HP less then 35%, same like 25% But there is one problem these trigers show you 25% or 35% HP on any targets so sometimes it can be anoing, but you can add extra condition to show only Boss HP, what you need to search through this forum posts about DS timer, and you will find original post how to make it. Sor I not remamber now how to do this condition Last edited by Andjelo; April 08, 2009 at 02:50 AM.. |

I've searched and can't find a direct answer, nor can I start a new post yet. I used DoTimer forever, then I switched to ForteXorcist/Quartz/DrainSoulTimer, but I'm tired of looking timer bars and I'm looking for something more "heads up". I plan on going with OmniCC to put the timer on the button, but I want a raid warning style alert when a dot drops off the target. Can MSBT do this? I've seen it used to alert when conflag/CB were off CD, but that still leaves you looking at timers for Imm/CoD. On top of that, I am affliction since we lack consistent mages, so the CD alert does me no good, I want a text alert style timer. EDIT: I'm out of town and messing around a little on my laptop, but it looks like OmniCC is only a CD timer and not a spell timer as well I'm so tired of looking at bars
