Cormanthor: just keep doin' what you're doin'. People dig it.

Q: now that I have my UI utterly changed and rearranged -
a) is it possible to transfer all these settings over to all my alts accounts without configuring each one all over again? b) is Reflux the tool to do this with? and
c) can I just cut n paste via Saved Variables? or
d) nope. I'm screwed.

Cheers.

Visible add ons:
Xperl, Power Auras, TipTac, BT4, SexyMap, Recount, Omen, Prat 3.0, Questhelper, Y Change Da Font, sl data text and Dr Damage.
Power Auras for those who didn't know (like me), can show among MANY MANY THINGS, stuff like 'Actions Usable' for Demonic Empowerment, Meta and your trinkets when ready to go. If Fel Armor wasn't already up then you'd have seen that symbol above the DemEmp symbol too.
I have set a purple aura for Nightfall and a red aura for Molten Core procs - they end up sliding perfectly together and look horny IMHO.
Also a little blue and a little green dragon appear one either side of the circular auras when health/mana hit 34%.
I can't believe WoW doesn't ship with it!

That mammoth was dead about 1.3 seconds after ss was taken lol.

Most if not all of the addons you mentioned have profile support. Just set the profile for your alts and "Copy Profile" from your main. You'll have to configure Power Auras though. Also, you can more your health / mana dragons from the Character Pane in Power Auras to the Global Pane, and they will function for all toons.

My UI. I am still working on it trying to get it set up and I am thinking on adding some panels in there, but I just don't know on that one.

EDIT:: I posted this after killing this mob :P

Nice looking setup. What works now may not work so well in 20 more levels, and will definitely need some tweaking by 70. Particularly the portrait on your target frame may get in the way of your target's health after it hits 4 or 5 digits.
Also, the lines in the middle of Omen will disappear if you lock it.

Good job!

Re: Show off your UI - Thread #3 (Patch 3.1 and beyond)

Thank you Cormanthor. Like I said I am still working on it and will change it up when I need to. The portrait on the target frame was just a temporary thing, I was checking to see if I liked it and just never took it off. I will be adding a few more slots for spells and such when I need the space for them.

Also thank you for that Omen tip :D

Re: Show off your UI - Thread #3 (Patch 3.1 and beyond)

I hope its ok to ask questions about UI's here. Im still working on mine, but was wondering:

1. whats the addon that shows the time left on a spell button (like Bountyhunt has)
2. Is it possible to get more distance to you're char. Like zooming out more than standard blizz max zoom? If answer yes, what addon is used for it?

1. OmniCC
2. Found this in the blizz forum:

Zoom Camera Beyond Default Range

Macro to increase the default camera distance view to zoom out farther (via mousewheel). Default is 15.
-----
/script SetCVar("cameraDistanceMax",30)
-----

or use this macro:

Zoom... Camera
A macro that will zoom the camera out to the maximum distance allowed by game code. Run once, and forget, until/unless the settings are lost or changed. May have to repeat that operation again after a major release update; some updates reset that value to the default.
-----
/script SetCVar("cameraDistanceMaxFactor","3.4")
------

Setting it to 5 is probably as far as you need, at like 10 it's like viewing your character from space.

The mods ImprovedCamera or oTweaks can increase the maximum zoom distance from 30 to 50. Though, using the standard Interface Options panel and adjusting the camera distance slider may be all that is needed. Even the default 30 is very far, and 20 may be more comfortable.
