Destro rotation

I was browsing WoW Interface and I saw this addons.

easyDestrp : WoWInterface Downloads : Warlock

Actually only for deep destro lock. I though it would be nice to share.

If someone already used it, leave a feedback here.

There's also a youtube tutorial made by the author.

IMO

Seems pretty cheap. might as well have a bot doing it. I play a warlock because i love playing it, not to watch big pictures pop up to tell me what to do next. You need to learn the class and learn to play the class.

my 2 cents, take it or put it back in the take a penny, leave a penny tray

edit: this wasn't directed to you Astharoth. I know you said you just found it. just to the idea itself i don't care for

Re: Destro rotation

due to the lag between immo applying and conflag being available its better to cast CB after immo

That's pretty pro not using any dot timers, CD timers etc

I use DoTimers and OmniCC. No I do not think something that shows the information that is already there more clearly is the same as something that tells you what to cast. DoTimer seperates your debuffs on the target from the rest so you can watch just yours and OmniCC lets me know when stuff is ready so i know what spells i have ready.

this rotation add on makes it so you don't have to learn the rotation or learn the class mechanics. You should understand why to only cast cb when immo is up or that getting conflag off as much as possible is priority. Not just "oh, the big blinking icon says i should cast this, okie dokie that looks like a fun button /faceroll"

Now I'm not certain but if you use CB befor Conflag there's a bigger risk of not getting a second Conflag on that Immo. Also - you get Backdraft on your CB if Conflag crits. Now I dunno if it's maybe better to have three Backdraft-Inc instead but the most "rotationguides" I've read suggests that you should cast Conflag before CB.

Though I agree it feels kinda awkard just standing there for a whole GCD waiting to cast Conflag.

No lag here, maybe a 1/4 second delay. Casting conflagrate first allows me to get two conflags on my initial immolate, and after that it doesn't really matter.

I usually use this time to reposition myself. Like in VoA when the trash does the rock shards. I know he is going to do it at some point so i use the time waiting to cast conflag as well as the gcd time after casting conflag to move off by myself. this can be applied to any fight that requires movement. Depending on your internet it can seem like a long time or short. It seems pretty short to me but i admit at first it seemed like a long time to just wait

Re: Destro rotation

worst addon ever.

All you really need are Classtimer and/or OmniCC, you can really get away with just OmniCC.

Been a deep destro lock for a very long time now and honestly there is nothing complicated about the rotation, you do the same thing over and over except for maybe life tap when you go OOM (and if you are doing max dps you will go OOM fairly fast) and lately ive been experimenting throwing in Death coil to some pretty good results if you have high crit.

i have been throwing CB before my first Incinerate lately as well and my dps seems the same or a slight improvement. I don't think it really matters that much which order you throw them out seeing as backdraft is like 10 seconds long and you will be able to throw your instant cast Incin no problem.

If you are a destro lock and require this addon, please do yourself a favor and respec to afloliction or just re roll.
