Compiling SimCraft UI
Can anybody give me instructions how to compile the UI that comes with simcraft via Visual C++ Express? So far I just load the project file and compile. This will make the command line program, but something is missing since "simcqt.exe" is not created. |

is there any reason why you don't want to use the precompiled download that's being offered on the simcraft website? They are quite up to date currenty As far as I know. I never found out how to compile the UI, can't help with that. I'm not 100% sure if the UI sources are contained in what you grab using svn. But probably they are there. Maybe there's a separate project file in the UI folder? |

No project file in the folder. There are CPP files and I might have to compile them manually just don't know how to do that with Visual C++ Express without an associated project file. Reason I use the source is that its much easier to keep updated via svn. |

Based on the file extensions in that directory, it seems that the GUI is built on a system that is run with OSX. So you'd need to create your own makefile or peoject file with VC++ Express. Make sure you install Qt first: Products — Qt - A cross-platform application and UI framework
