Question Few add-on questions

1st:

I have Titan Panel. Using it to display gold amount, bag space and a few other things. It's a bar along the top, but I'd like it along the bottom. I've seen it done and know how to add a bar at the bottom, but how do you add everything to the bottom bar and remove the top bar?

2nd:

I recently did an Ony run and encountered an annoying thing that my brother says must be one of my add-ons. When fighting Ony, I hear things like "More DoTs. More DoTs." and other voices saying things. What add-on is doing it and how do I disable just the annoying voices?

3rd:

Pitbull takes a while to set up, but I've managed to set it up for my lock's life/mana/rep, my pet and my target. Before I venture into trying to set up a party/raid settings, is their another fairly simple party/raid add-on that displays party/raid member name, life and mana? Maybe even threat level as well, so I could do away with omen.

2. I believe that is an option in Deadly Boss Mods. If you go into the DBM configuration, I believe in the Onyxia module there is an option for Old School Chatter or some such. Disable that and it will go back to normal.

3. Grid is a pretty decent raid frame add on that takes up minimal space. It is configurable to show many different things, but may take a little getting used to how it shows them.

@ Ehman: Strange, I haven't touched DBM in a while, but I'll take a look the next time I'm on WoW.

@ Dranath: I keep looking at Grid, but the images I've seen of it, it's a bit odd. Like... I don't see bars for life/mana at all on them. Just boxes, with a name and then little colored squares within the boxes. Looks confusing, to me. I'll give it a try though.

The "box" itself is the health "bar" -
You also have like 50 different mods you can add to grid, one of them is to show mana.

Grid is somewhat a massive addon to get your head into - but it isnt that hard if you take the time to look at it, and do some reading around.

I'm afraid the only guides i would be able to link you 2, would be for healing classes, where way to mutch of the info would just make it messy for your part.

@ Wizzlo: Sounds like Grid may take time to setup then, just like pitbull. If that is the case, I may as well stick to just running pitbull, rather than adding another add-on to my UI.

I would recommend Pitbull over Grid personally, and for the reason you just stated. Grid doesn't provide what I consider 'core elements' of a UF mod -- just the group frames. Pitbull, XPerl, StUF, etc. all provide 100% of the essentials.

If you are using Pitbull 4 (only available at Curse.com), you actually build 'templates' for the UF's, then pick which template each unit uses. So if your ToT frame is the same setup as your party targets, focus & focus target frames, you really only set it up once.

Re: Few add-on questions

Use Xperl for a slightly clunky addon that requires very little setup.
Use Shadowed Unit Frames for an easy to setup addon with plenty of customization.
Use Pitbull4 for an extremely robust unit frame addon that requires lots of setup.

All of these addons provide raid frames, but none have the ability to clearly and concisely configure them like grid. The problem is that this addon has the most retarded initial setup I've ever seen. You actually have to familiarize yourself with the options to get it set up properly.
It isn't as much of an issue because if you're not a healer the way your raid frames are layed out makes much less of an impact on how you play the game. Still, you can do things with grid that you just can't with other raid frames.

As for omen, don't ditch it. Set it to show a maximum of 3 bars, and remove the title bar and headings. It should already be set to always show yourself, so you should see yourself, the tank, and the pull aggro bar. This makes it MUCH smaller and easier to read.

Re: Few add-on questions

The reason I want to show the entire party/raid with an add-on is I've encountered a slight bug. When in a raid, if I press O and go to the raid tab, it lists everyone. However, the bug I've found is that the raid tab sometimes appears completely blank. This means I can't see who is alive, dead or d/c. Granted I'm dps and don't really need to know all this, but it does help when I've died and I want to see how many people the group has left alive and by that, determine if I should release or not.

Also, I think it's pitbull, when in raids, the default party/raid UI on the left no longer states what group I'm in on the left. It just shows the others in the group with me.
