Rogue 101
I've decided that my new alt Blood Elf is going to be a rogue, but I know next to NOTHING about playing them. Can anyone with any experience give me a brief rundown of the three trees and some viable build options. I'm especially interested in the type of rogues that absolutely OWN me in bg. (The ones that sneak up on me, stun me and kill me before I'm ever able to even get a spell off.) That's the kind I want to be, natch. (I know, I could go to the main WOW forums and look this up, but I trust the people here more.) |

Ooh, for those that are rogue savvy, feel free to post anything you think should be added to the Helpful Rogue Links sticky. Something along the lines of the Hunter one I did, with notes etc.

my main is a tier2 rogue, so i hope I can offer a few tips Stealth is your friend, though it slows you down a bit. startting off talents incl imp evis, imp SS, and lightning reflexes. I ignored talents that imp. attacks from behind - thats mainly pvp or raids for later on. Riposte and precision ->dual wielding are also important early on. disarming a foe is good. maybe improved sap also, great for soloing multiples or instances. Good luck ! |
