No so sure
Hello,
My name is Iriarya and I'm an alt-aholic. Not really, but I do get bored with the same old dot, dot, dot, shadow bolt every once and a while and I like to play other classes. My thing is, I want to really level an alt and so far my choice would be the Shaman. It can do pretty much everything. Ranged dps (I have to have some way to hit something from far away... or it's just pointless. That's why I ruled out the Paladin), healing, melee. Just about everything I could ask for. The only thing I'm curious about is the mana problem. Is it really as big of a deal as people say it is? Is there any way to remedy it? Which build would be best if I want to do ranged damage and healing? Should I just do a hybrid ele/resto build with it? Or would that end up making me be gimped in both sides? Or maybe I just shouldn't roll a shaman at all, if there's a better class for the above things (don't say druid, I hate being a cow. [I play horde]) please let me know. I mean I could possibly give up the melee possibility... but it sucks being a caster all the time... sometimes I just yearn for a giant bad arse sword ![]() Any information you can give is very welcome and appreciated ![]() |

Re: No so sure
I rolled a Tauren druid recently; got him to 22 before I realized I could not play him because I did not like the art model. A bull turning into a kitty was just too wierd.
![]() On topic: Shaman is the class I am least likely to play simply because I can't get excited about totems. Yet you seem excited about it so give it a whirl - no harm in getting to 15-20th level to dabble with a class and realizing it's not for you - you get a little knowledge of how other classes play out. |
