Better alliance race for Pally

Hey all,

I was just wondering what race was better for a alliance pally- dwarf or human. Thanks for your comments.

In terns of a ret pally or some offensive pvp action go human. In terms of a healdin, stoneskin is a major skill to use. Prot can go either way.

Maybe I'm wrong but surely for a protection paladin, who find HP to be an issue, rolling a dwarf with their stamina bonus would help?

Re: Better alliance race for Pally

The dwarfs have Stoneskin... and the +10% armor is best for a Tank Paladin.
The humans have +10% faccion rep, a help for join the Aldor, and a extra experience with mace... a little useful.

In level 1 dwarf and human have a 2 points diference of 26... in level 70 with the equip, buffs, gems, enchants.... the diferent is 2 points of 300~400, and 2 points is nothing... but in combat a human have a little more damage, and a dwarf have a +10% more armor that help a little to heal.

And Dranei.... a special that heal you? a paldin have enough heal spells to need another more.

In my opinion, Dwarf is better option, but i have PvE...

>>I don't have a paladin

Your opinion is the more important, you don't need a uberpaladin, the more important is to have fun with él.

Re: Better alliance race for Pally

for pve, human <could> be better since if you use a mace to tank, the weapon expertise will allow you to cap it easier then other races

Re: Better alliance race for Pally

So they changed it while I wasn't looking, 10% armour is a nice amount then especially given tankadin's issue is survival and not TPS. Also weapon expertise now alters crit chance (looks like I'm not alone in not keeping :P thank you wowwiki). Dranei are nice for their buff and free heal but it's not that great. Some say dranei look awful, especially the males but they look quite awesome in plate.
