Re: Creating a farming / gold making alt

AoE Grinding? Hello aff lock! All that sitting down and drinking on the job would get old with a prot pally or mage.

I'd buck the trend and say Shaman though. Mostly because you don't have to be a bloody cow to roll one...

Hunters are by far the easiest to grind/level with, my baby hunter's almost in outland and I only started playing it about ten days ago..

Re: Creating a farming / gold making alt

Farming with the main char is always a bad idea: repair costs of a epic dressed toon goes sky high.

Better do an alt. Or more (like i do).

Farming mobs while watching TV >>> BM hunter: pet, scorpid sting, autoshoot.
Farming herb/mining >>> druid: traver&flight form + soothe animal + stealth = farming tailored toon.
Serious Farming >>> aoe mage, or even better tankadin. Both require some attention while playing and some drinking between a pack of mob and the next.

Druid, Hunter, Rouge all 3 are farming machines.

Re: Creating a farming / gold making alt

I clear around 350-380g an hour doing alch/herb and making and selling flasks. For every 10 flasks I average 2 extras on procs. Flasks sell for 50g ave. I buy fel lotus in the mornings before leaving for work, trying to get it around 22g (but lately its gone up). I make nothing but flasks to sell. In the hour of farming herbs I also usually get a couple fel lotus as well as a primal or two.

Had a 5 proc of pure death followed right behind by a 4 proc of relentless assault last week. 7 extras, free ~350g for clicking a button. :P
