Priest: Priest pvp build

Hia all,

Some weeks back i made a undead priest on a pvp server. Now i am looking for a good pvp spec. I found some stuff of on other forums but they don't really feel right for me. So i started making my own build.

But as i have few till no experience in pvp as a priest i would like to now what you guys think of this. It's not a arena build just a pvp buid with little pve soloing and 5 man grouping.

priest pvp means one thing mainly, disc. My priest (still leveling) is going to be 42/19/0.

Shadow really has no place in pvp right now, its way to easy to kill for just about everyone.

I originally went all shadow but found I was healing all the time in battlegrounds so I looked at where I was having trouble and switched to this.

I put just enough points into shadow to get mind flay and went with Holy because it seemed to fix the problems I was having healing. It works well for me and am usually the top healer on both sides since I switched. I have no idea how well this will work when I level to the 40's bracket but we shall see soon.

it depends what you plan to do, bgs holy is great for nice heals, plus you can heal raids. For real pvp (serious bgs with premade groups, and arena) you better spec disc if you want to excel (though again in bgs holy is fine). In arena priests have one roll, support. Off heals and shields mostly with PI and PS mixed in.

For 1v1 Disc priests are like resto druids, very good at staying alive, not so good at killing (though better at killing than resto druids)
