Compiled List of changes coming for Hunters in WotLK
As I have mentioned in the past, Hunters are my equal favorite class in WoW. It's also the class I happen to be playing at the moment. Because I just don't have the time to go googling and scouring other websites (and wouldn't you all prefer I spend my time updating this one *grin*), I'm asking for the assistance of those with the time to help out.
Looking for any and all info on the upcoming changes for Hunters in Wrath of the Lich King. ![]() |

*smacks Vaell*
If that's the case then, each of our Minions should have their own talent trees too! Or hell, even one tree per Pet! Quote:

*sees the word Snatch and spits coke all over the monitor* Ok, lol, seriously. You can 'pin' the target, hit the 'snatch', give em a bit of a 'smack' and all with a 'bad attitude'. Who was drinking at Blizzard that night? And after seeing what Hunters get, then by god yes Warlock pets should scale! |

Oops, didn't realise you'd moved the thread. Disregard demon comments as you see fit.

Re: Compiled List of changes coming for Hunters in WotLK
I'm playing my hunter more than anything right now as well. I really hope they do something with the pet family bonuses. Seperate talent trees will be fun and all but if cats/ravagers/raptors have the passive DPS boost over the other families they will still be way over represented as a whole with most hunters.
Although the only real way to do this would be to normalize all pets and every boost only comes from talents. (I broke down and leveled a cat to get prowl - if we get the alpha spell Camoflauge it will be nice for coming out of 'stealth' with an aimed shot and angry kitteh!) |

Re: Compiled List of changes coming for Hunters in WotLK
I have also been playing my hunter more lately. Got three of the pvp pieces for a minor upgrade to my gear, and am into revered with shattered sun as well. Two of my pets are level 70, but my third is a cat I picked up in Winterspring after abandoning my other level 70 cat (I like the look of the new one more), but unfortunately he is only level 60
. I have no idea how to level him up, as he seems to not get xp against same level mobs (undead in plaguelands for example). Anyone have any ideas? If I can't level him up, I will just wait until WoLK comes out and perhaps a new cat will be available? The changes to hunter pets look nice, I am hoping they keep most of them at launch before the impending nerf hunters pets crying begins . |
