I finally got around to making one the other day. He's mostly just there to farm, but I gotta say, I really enjoyed actually reading through the quests again and getting a little involved in the story instead of just leveling as fast as I can. The whole time I was playing though I couldn't help thinking "why couldn't they have passed on a little of this evilness to warlocks?" |

I play a Blood Elf lock as my info says, and although I love the Horde Im using the DK to explore a little of what the alliance has to offer. More than likely it'll be a Dwarf. Im also using this as an oppourtunity to explore an rp server. Can anyone say "Pally lost faith in the light?"

I created my death knight a few weeks ago and leveled it from 55 to 65 this week. Sad to say it feels more evil then a lock and a lot of fun to play (blood spec). |

Bahhh DK's.. Leveling my DK is not even fun nor a challenge. The way they walk through mobs and take down elite's solo style is ridiculous. Yeah it's a refreshing change from being a full time clothie but this class is not for me. |

I have a level 80 dk on Deathwing and I had a lot of fun with him until there were so many dks that all I ever got in reply when asking to joining a PUG was "we're already full on dk's..." At least he's still a money maker and a good support alt with his blacksmithing and alchemy professions. I think Blizzard did their best to make dk's as easy as possible to level since you can pull huge groups of mobs the same level as you on kill quests and easily survive and path of frost lets you get around very easily. |

Yeah, I started my DK a few weeks ago since my guild is always short an OT for raids. I have to laugh at how easy these guys are. The run system practically tells you which abilities to use. At level 70, blood/unholy leveling spec and in undergeared quest rewards I managed 1100 target dummy dps. I've seen plenty of pure dps classes in T4 not doing this at 70. And the ability to handle aoe crowds and solo most elites I come across (just did the 3 player quest in Kamagua last night) and end the fight at 100% hp is just ridiculous. I've spent some time exploring (easy xp) and mining in higher level areas. At 70 I've accidentally aggroed level 77 mobs in Zul'Drak, and if it weren't for all of the misses it would have been easy. As such I still took them down with 60% hp left. That just shouldn't be possible. |

Of course playing a DK at 80 requires skill and understanding of the class but for levelling they are incredibly simple to play. |
