Re: Questions to Den from a resto druid

I have a holy pally that's been holy from level 1 (erm, when i had items with +healing as rewards i picked them). I healed with him troughout The Burning Crusade up to early BT level (him being my alt, just comming in to fill healer spots)
I also have a druid, which has been feral for all it's life, except few days ago when i specced him resto and went healing few raids and heroics.
And ofc i have my main warlock.

On my pally i succesfully healed (and made a difference, not just spammed FoL and topping the overhealing meters) everything in game that was supposed to be hard for pally healers (mgt heroic, najentus, Loken in HOL heroic, KT iceblocks, Malygos).

On my druid i healed just 2 heroics and 2 sartharion +0 drakes up (10 and 25 man versions).

I'm gonna go against the current here and say i'd rather have a pally healer when i raid on my lock. Dunno why, maybe cose i have a pally healer and take special care of the other locks when i'm raiding with him.

What i like most about the pally play style is the reactive healing needed. A druid just hots everyone and rarely reacts to other than raid damage with wildgrowth. Paladins are all about reactions and managing cooldowns. Altough for many it may seem that a pally just spam heals, reacting to damage is what makes the class more interesting to me. Managing the shield, the beacon, the shock cooldown, the shock crit procs, keeping a HL proc up the whole time so you can heal major burst, and now since the nerf learning when to have divine plea up and for how long to keep the DP buff before clearing it yourself is what a good pally is all about.

When i raid with the pally and have a lock in the raid, i usually give him a shock when he lifetaps, or put the beacon on him and just heal the tank. But as i said, i for one react to the situation.

Re: Questions to Den from a resto druid

Unless I am about to die in next 2 seconds, I prefer having hots on me. I can check my health, tick amount, and decide how much can I lifetap to get healed to full, or lifetap as hot ticks. Also, I don't like lifebloom cause it ticks too quickly and I can't predict safe margin as easily.
