Anyone know of good Shammy forums?
Having got my lock to the point where there's little for me to do on him except Ulduar and having got bored of tanking for horrible pugs on my Prot Warrior, I've started a Shammy. Does anyone know if there's a forum for the Shammy community that's anywhere near as great as the Den? |

I have a Shaman alt and while there are a couple of guide-related sites out there that I located with Google, I have yet to find anything that compares to this site in terms of breadth of knowledge and information.

Having a Druid (77) and a Shaman (60) that I have looked for good sources for information on both recently. I have found it an impossible task to find anything out there that is 1. current, 2. not just there to sell gold, and 3. accurate. There is a severe lack of web sites that are remotely close to the Den. This really sucks but seems to be spot on. Like Smyth said there are a few good guides out there. If your shaman heals try plusheal.com. They have some space devoted to shammies |

Not that this is helpfull, but my alt is a shammy, and I have not found a usefull site. a lot of dead links in the forums that are multiple patches behind. nothing exists like the Den! |

plusheal is nice if you're into healing general stuff you'll go to EJ. you can like copy the poster's spec if you're unsure what to do with the enhancement tree ( for example ). other then that there's no sites i know of you can post on the den too if you have questions since a fair few of us have one. |

EJ is about endgame it's also insanely maths based... esp shammy abilities like windfury, go check out the enhancement think tank post if you want to see if you're just lvling my suggestion is to experiment... post on the den if you have questions. i'm routinely bored these days since i'm on winter break here in good old Australia and am quite happy to write up anything and everything about shammy. |

both enhance and elemental is good now for leveling. you get water shield early now which provides a good chunk of mana back upon damage recieved but also passive mp5. before they did that enhance won because bashing a mob to death is relatively mana free compared to nuking it to death with lightening bolts. for enhance: hunter loot is your loot, 1 strength = 1 agi = 1 attack power with talents taken when you get nearer to level 60, 1 int = 1 AP. again with talents your attack power will convert to spell damage in short, if you stack agi or attack power you're going to be doing perfectly fine Last edited by Coud; July 07, 2009 at 03:05 AM.. |
