Re: Arena Spec

Warlocks are the squishiest class in the arenas, and Destro is our squishiest spec. Crit rating is gimped by resilience and chance. If you have a 25% crit rate, and your opponent has 200 resilience, you now have a 20% crit rate; so 4/5 nukes will not crit - totally unreliable for the arenas.

The combination of resilience, cast time, and LoS kiting, lack of reliable HP regen (Soul Leech <<<< SiLi), and lack of Damage mitigation (no Soul Link), make Destro Arena-ing a pain is the ass.

I did pretty good in my 2v2 team with a 7/7/47 spec (Fire Mage partner), going 9-1 a few weeks ago. Stepping up to 3v3 and 5v5 though, I got totally owned.

Hell, even with a 24/37/0 spec, 12.1K HP, and 322 resilience, I still get wtfpwned pretty easily.

Re: Arena Spec

Yeah, I bit the bullet and spec'd back to demo. 5/45/11 this time, to make some use of my gear. We're 4-2 since I respec'd. Oh wells, time to get some decent aff/demo gear, I guess >.<
