Arcane Shot and Backlash
Just venting, but holy mackeral the hunter arcane shot buff really causes problems for us destro locks. The most obvious arcane shot effect is knocking out fel armor, but what's alot bigger is it removing backlash. Backlash IMO is one of the strongest aspects of the destro tree, but against a hunter it gets removed by arcane shot real quick... I've got the nightfall/backlash mod and still have trouble getting a sb off before it's removed. |

Time your Shadowfury right and you will be in the clear. Most likely you will have their pet beating on you causing another bolt to be ready for firing. Hunters are a pain but they are very beatable for destructo locks. Shadowfury, fear, cast shadow bolt and hopefully a backlash spammed bolt right after--half dead and they will most likely feign death right here. Your Shadow fury CD should be ready to drop again. Pop and drop fear once more rinse and repeat hunter dead reapply your fel buff. If your lucky enough to have your Deathcoil at the ready--than all that much easier. Now I am curious how you guys are dealing with some of these Manaburn'n holy priests and resto druids as a destructo lock--they give me a headache.
