Maybe I am missing something...
Okay. If I dot someone up they usually can dispell, or cloak out of it. If I have 2 or 3 dots on me, it affects me badly. A rogue or mage can 100% get out of all my dots in 1 spell. I can only dispell 1 every 24 seconds. Also, I have no escape tactics, except for LoS. Mages can blink, rogues can cloak. What am I missing here?

Nothing. Except Felhunter Self-devour, Shadow Ward and Spellstones and Healthstones/Drain Life/Siphon Life on everything you can possibly see to get some decent health returns. We have more ways of dealing with DoTs than most - but not in the "total removal" sense of CloS/Iceblock/Bubble etc

Hey sorry for the confusing post. It was only a half train of thought, hah. Anyways, I learned that you wait to deathcoil and rogue after he uses CloS, and Spellstones are used for the anti Spriest. But cheatdeath screwed me out of an arena win today. He was at 2%, I was around 13%. Cheat death procced, and I died. It sucked! |

IMO, they should at least have to activate it themselves...having it do it automatically for them takes no skill and it would really differentiate between the good and bad rogues, making them easier to kill. |

Aye. I play a rogue, my 2v2 Partner on my Shaman is a rogue....and I'd still say considering how effective it is, and its free...its OP'd. An associated cost and less effectiveness would level the playing field a little...

just a few words: -Spellstone -shadow ward -Devour magic all you'll ever need. if you wish to win from rogue's? simple! spec 5/5/51 it is the hardest spec to learn, but by far the most overpowered spec if you play it good. just got back to pvping a bit so tried it out in Battleground's and an 1 vs 3-4 aint a prob at all with that spec ;) try that with sl/sl and you'd die insta vs those 3-4 people. |
