UA/Druid, UA/shaman and UA/paladin

i really wanted to test it out how UA would work with different healers. i was so tired of sl/sl, because it gave me no fun at all.
i had 1140spell, 507 resili, 12600 hp.

-first i grouped up with a paladin, and the first team we faced was druid/warrior. i thought "oops, damn, no Soullink, i am screwed." but my paladin pal healed me through it easily, and 5 dots on the druid and the warrior made the druid oom in 1min+. i didnt even drain him. so we finished that battle pretty easily. the second time we encountered a rogue/priest. rogue is our counter class, so i thought " damn i am doomed. screw this" but priest oomed even faster than the druid, and his hp reduced about 4000 by dispelling my UA.

-then i grouped up with a shaman. worked out pretty well, he was a well geared shamana though.

-Druid/UA. really sucked when fighting against warrior/heal. rogue/heal. because the druid could not keep me up. he had 1600 healing, however damage done on me was far more than his hots could heal me.

havent tried with priest

Priest dispells UA = Fail.

I tried UA at 2k+ in 3's a while ago, out of interest what rating was this? My paladin could keep me up in 2's but in 3's it became very difficult if focus-fired...

1 thing lock can do in 3v3 is shutting down the healer ha its so fun

Re: UA/Druid, UA/shaman and UA/paladin

I'm an advocate of UA.
I run it both 2's (UA/SPriest) and 3's (UA/SP/RDruid)
both of those games easily hit 1750+ .. of course we get the occasional rating bomb, which drops us down to 1650+ then we just play it back up to the 1700s. (we're hoping to hit 1800+ soon)

Its really more of the coordinated burst the UA / SP can do to take out one quickly for 2's. With Fear, Silence, Insta-Howl, Spell Lock, Psychic Scream, CoT, and Arc Torrent (yes im Blood Elf) it gives us pretty much a lot of time to take out the other dude while the healer is CC'd. Then there's always Mana burn and Drain Mana + our dots ticking if we gotta shift to outlast/survive mode.

In 3's add Moonfire, Cyclone, Roots, LOS Tranquility, and Druid Kiting and you pretty much got it also. Our biggest problems are double healer teams in 3's or hard hitting Tri-DPS.
