Short WSG story...
I got my morning BG in earlier and i have to say it was the best ever. I need to change my spec in the info box, because i recently went sl/sl... /sigh, BUT this morning in WSG myself and 2 other locks (both were Afflic) formed up after getting po'd about the Alli team scoring within a minute of the start. It was your usual resto drood runner.
Anyhow, i saw the point click and the message pop and i stood there wondering what to do next. A /w pops up and catches my attention, of course it was one of the other locks in our group saying "lets roll that druid"... i respond with "lets." by that time the lock i was talking to and another come up next to me and in unison dart up the tunnel to go D. Sure enough a minute later the same druid is popping through into the flag chamber and it was just great...that druid had CoE and a dozen DoTs on him before he was through the doorway. 10 steps later... dead druid. After that it was a mass killing spree. The three of us lead the board in kills and damage...even sadder was that i was almost the top healer =/ Anyway, it was just the best time in WSG i had had in a LONG time. Now if only Horde could win AV....../sigh |

Re: Short WSG story...
It always annoys me when I'm in the top 3 heals, especially in AV. I started leveling and semi-twinking a druid because of it (love to follow locks around. "Oooh! Squishy!...Why won't he die?")
Three locks rolling together - dangerous. |

Re: Short WSG story...
I recently ran Pern through AB with my RL friend on his Pally. With him holding my back and keeping my health up the entire time, I rarely if ever died. It was amazing how many allies i killed by running around dotting them all up, fearing those on my pally friend, and moving onward while he stood behind me healing when needed and fighting when not.
Side note - I've always believed that the best class to level a warlock with is a paladin. Both Pern, and my other lock, leveled with Paladins, its just amazing. Pallys can heal you and tank for you while providing buffs like wisdom or salvation. Gratz on ripping it up in WSG, its always a blast when you get a good crew to ride with. Next time you should try running the flag as a Lock with two locks backing you up! heh heh |

![]() I got one of the guys added to Friends so maybe i can get this to work... On a side note since were discussing paladins a lil bit... a RL friend got all the 70 paladins in his guild together and made a 10 man pre-made in WSG...i wish i could have seen this, but he said it was the shortest WSG run he had ever been in. I DID witness him and a ret paladin decimate a good 20+ people at Halaa one day. I used to laugh at Retadins...until i saw this guy who knew what he was doing. Also these guys sport T5/6 gear so...maybe they had the upper hand ![]() |

But actually, warlocks are probably LEAST vulnerable to 10xPally teams. 10 men Lock WSG would beat 10 men Pally WSG. |

Re: Short WSG story...
My "other 70" is a pally. Unfortunatly he isn't as well geared as my warlock-just the blue rep items but he's at over 200 resilliance now & i recently got the vindicators boots & wrists-they were the biggest upgrade for his gear. He's only 1K + heals but he's always top 3 in healing in BGs if not number 1. I must be doing something right with him cause he gets focus fired sooo much now lol
The sad thing is in BG healers never get protected. Unless I'm with some friends & we roll together then its WIN/WIN!!! My pally is holy spec atm but i was ret for quite a while & stood up very well even with mid 60s blues/greens & as a farmer toon he was so good i had to get him his epic flyer lol I'm grinding his S2 holy set atm but if i get the chance I wil do his ret set as well. I do think pallies have needed a boost for a long while though. A friend who was a truely amazing warlock-I started Elricc after watching how well he did & 1 day i hope to reach 50% of his skill level-rolls a holy DR pally. He pvped him to the full PvP (holy) set & has added a number of S3 items (before S4 came out) He actually goes after rogues & wins- though he hates mages. He was grinding gold in netherwing the other week & a mage kept killing him. i was on so he invited me-the mage tried 1 more time & this big bad warlock swooped down & destroyed him-the mage never came back lol |

Re: Short WSG story...
Oh dear god yes. Resto druids are the biggest culprit of the "my dps died in 2 seconds in arena so i'm going to run around pillars and heal myself for 30 minutes"
I laugh at SL/SL locks in bg's though honestly. I pvp as raid spec and they can't touch me. Even better is with a spellstone up and and nether prot procs on their last dot and i wipe all of them off with spell stone(except Curse of Agony obviously). Just for fun once to test how OP nether prot is, I actually once fully mana drained a shadow priest while still having 50% hp in wsg. |
