Re: Casting Interuptions

You can manually change that registry setting. I have done this and it is an improvement (with some side effects). Do a search on latency and you'll find it.

I really think the whole melee thing is seriously unbalanced atm. In 10 matches last night, 90% had a rogue; ~50% a warrior (perhaps bad luck) and I think the initial imbalances have led to further imbalance as the player base begin making decisions based on the imbalance. i.e. rerolling rogues and warriors. I have friends who have done just this.

I am hearing it alot more in trade channel and on AJ forum etc. WoW PVP has become World of Meleecraft. You need alot of skill to survive one rogue, two is like ... insta gib ... rogue and warrior together, & it gets messy. I have seen rogues take out warriors with relative ease! I mean, I thought warriors were "the counter class", guess again.

The damage output of geared rogues is simply insane. If 90% of arena matches involve 1-2 rogues and/or warriors, then we'll need to rethink the stacking of +armor items. Because now that the imbalance has occurred it will take a year or so before it corrects (if Blizzard do anything about it). And the last thing anyone wants is for the imbalance to be the other direction because half the arena population are rogues and I don't think that would be a smart move by blizzard resulting in a mass exodus of paying customers.

Re: Casting Interuptions

I don't know if it was just because it was Tuesday & the servers were starting to fall over or what but BGs today were the worst I have seen in a long time.

I am working towards the healing mace with my paladin so i started on him. AV was the PvP daily which is usually reasonable but either horde are working out how to win AV (by defending) or the alliance were exceptionally bad today but I was getting constantly stunned & that makes it hard to do anything. I think the medalion of the alliance (& horde for that matter) should work like Will of the Forsaken & make you immune to things for 8 seconds. I was also getting meleed through walls. 1 mage frost novaed about 5 alliance & cast blizzard & when frost nova broke he just did it again & blizzard again rinse & repeat, until everyone was almost dead. On my 62 mage the cooldown prevents this.

I run around 400Ms which is a real pain-though i have heard Melbourne is around 600- & i kept getting a " Out of range" message whilst trying to HoJ the warrior that was beating on me.

I tried WSG but the horde took 2 flags then just HKed till i /afked out.

I logged my warlock & it took 3 AVs to get a win.In 1 a hunter was standing in the field of strife & dropping alliance over & over again. No one could get near him. Just before shut down a few friends formed a premade & we did EoTS. it started at the 9 minutes till shut down message. 4 capped & were back in stormwind at the 3 minutes etc message.

My earlier runs were just after school got out so that may account for some of it lol

Re: Casting Interuptions

Pushback annoys me sooo much I just use instants as much as possible and stack haste for the few spells that are left.
The PvP Gloves with +50% Resistance against pushback, Fel Concentration helps with channels, etc.
Team with a Paladin who has skilled concetration Aura and you will have 100% for the talented tree.
Battlecast set offers small (5%) improvement, too.

REAL interrupts will always work, so it only helps against damage pushback/interrupt.

A wock? What could you fry in a WOCK? :-)

Hate to repeat it again, but Blizzard should allow netherweave nets in Arena to combat this somewhat.

I think this is an accurate representation of what you're describing:
