problems in lock+rogue vs:
Hey there people,
due to pressure of arenamates I am now sl/sl spec instead of destro spec for pvping, we saw that ofcourse right away in the rating...dropping down real fast. but also we are struggling now in 2-2's with rogue+sl/sl lock vs the shaman+shaman, shaman+rogue and rogue+mage teams, now as destro spec we didn't had any problems vs the first 2. but can anyone give us some tips on how to handle sl/sl lock+shs rogue vs shaman+shaman and shaman+rogue? Thanks in forward- |

Re: problems in lock+rogue vs:
Shaman/Shaman? What specs are they? I don't see how that could be a hard combo, some more info would be useful.
Shaman/Rogue you put DoTs on both, CoT on the Shaman, and your pet on the Shaman (auto-devour ON to get rid of Earth Shield). Your Rogue sticks to the Shaman to prevent him from casting anything other than NS. If the Rogue sticks on you you drain life the Shaman and try to lock a heal from the Shaman, if the Rogue is on your Rogue then Fear the Shaman and kill the Rogue. It's basically a variant of the Warrior/Shaman strat, and it's a little harder but it should work. For Mage/Rogue if your Rogue is human he should try to Sap their Rogue while you run around and try to avoid being opened on. At that point he should Sap the Mage and you DoT up the Rogue and your Rogue opens on their Rogue. Fear the Mage as Sap is going to end and DoT him up and keep DoTs on both people, Spell Lock a Poly or Frostbolt, and make sure you devour your Rogue ASAP if he gets Polyed (ie keep auto-devour OFF). Rogue vs Rogue with you controlling the Mage and DoTs on the Rogue you'll win. If your Rogue isn't human he should probably wait by you (you wait by a pillar) for the Rogue to come to you guys. If your Rogue sees theirs in stealth, cool, repeat what was listed above. If he doesn't see him approach, when you get opened on, your Rogue has to Cheap Shot the other Rogue before you can be Kidney Shot so that you can run away, Spellstone the Frost Nova from the Mage, DoT up the Rogue as you pillar the Mage if he's trying to Frostbolt you and then once the opposing Rogue is a bit better controlled get some CC up on the Mage. Re: problems in lock+rogue vs:
hmm actually, we just plainly suck,
we lose vs simply any setup today >,> meh going back to destro , screw 3-3's and 5-5's (does an active team exist at all *sighs*) if we didn't went skirmishes today but stayed rated we would've dropped way below 1200 rating, while at 1750 rating as destro >,> rrright. shaman+shaman well I don't know but I think they where both ench spec, and both healing eachother etc aswell. an long cd as spellock doens't help shit against that nor does the rogue's poisons do. today we lost anyway vs: multiple teams of each(we did like 60 games if not more, most skirmishes) priest+ench shammy priest+mage priest+lock priest+rogue druid+rogue druid+warr druid+mage druid+lock druid+ench shammy rogue+rogue hunter+druid priest+hunter boomkin+mage rogue+warr and well practically any team you can immagine >,> ohw well we didn't saw any ferral druids, that's for sure |
