Sudden Urge to get exalted with Horde reps

Hi,

I suddenly have an urge to get exalted with the horde cap's rep (ogrim, TB, Silvermoon, UC) partly cos of the achievement thingy coming in Wrath of the Lich King and after reading abit, AV seems the best way given that I can farm Honor as well as get rep to all 4 when I turn in stuff like blood and armor.

Just want to ask do people actually do that? like fight and kill, start looting enuff only to run back to Horde camp to turn in such stuff?

that's how I got to exalted with Exodar before Burning Crusade came out... it's very slow tho... you're better off doing quests imo since the rep given is always the same regardless of character level ( except for Silvermoon / Exodar... the burning crusade faction starting zone didn't get this change ) but if you don't mind taking all year or farming AV to death then yea it's perfectly viable

It is much much much more efficient to do the available dailies, get the gold, go to the AH and clean out the rune cloth to do the runecloth turn in quest.

Yeah did explore the cloth method but I'm gonna need hell lots of cloth. Have some rep that are 5,000 away so 5000/75 * 60 I would need close to 4,000.

But yeah doing AV would be slow as well. No easy lunch I guess.

On another note, do people in your server summon the "Giant" with 150 blood when you guys do AV? My server seems to just do the normal attack with 15-20 defending method.

In fact, didn't even realise there was a "help" to summon, having played a fair bit of AV until some reading up on the rep thingy.

So is the "summoned help" more to add to the fun of AV or it can actually turn the tides?

Um, yeah, the guide I linked you is how to reach exalted without handing in any cloth...

You should be able to run the other major cities just like the UC guide that Akasha posted for you. But finding those quest givers would be hard....may have to troll through a number of how to level guides to get a list/loc on all of the low level quest givers.

The easiest way to cap your rep with them is to go to Tarren Mills and enter AV(62,59) from the cave a little north of there. Outside you get like 4 quests, one quest being Proving Grounds. You will get the trinket Frostwolf Insignia Rank 1 which makes it so you port back 2minutes before the end of AV and hand it all in. I did this all while grinding honor for my season 2, so its not wasted in any way

I've got the Urge to do this as well, I got a lot of Rune Cloth from grinding Ogres in Nagrand for Mag'har rep so I put them in and now I'm like 4k away from Exalted.

I'm already exalted with the Frostwolf Clan, I want to get exalted with Defilers and the Warsong clan as well but it seems to take for ever.

I might have to give the AV ones a try sometime.

Or you can play Defense, and you're already right there.

That's how I hit exalted with UC / Silvermoon
