Anyone just griding Honor now?

I got to be honest, I'm not up to getting anymore bg gear, so I'm just gonna grab and save all my honor now till expansion. At least when I hit 80 I can get new bg gear right off the bat. My goal is to max bg honor with 100 marks in each bg.

I'll continue doing my dailies as priority and bg afterwards.

p.s. I think I'm just worn out lol

I've been playing my lock for about a year and a half and just started pvping a couple months ago really. I'm not saving my honor at all. I'm farming it constantly and spending it as soon as I can. Already my arena 3s is over 1650 so I got my Guardian's ring+bracers and Brutal robe, as well as merc weapons.

I used to hate pvp but after pairing with some good players and getting some gear (463 resil now) it's become a lot of fun, so I want to get all I can now. Though if I somehow max out my gear before the expansion I'm sure I will just save everything from then on.

I thought honor reset with the release of the expansion. At least this is my impression from the BC. But i may be wrong..

I think blizz will do the same with honor as they did with money, Inflation will make current honor worth much less therefore leveling the playing field for all players.

Have you played before The Burning Crusade? Have you seen a reset? Please do not spread misinformation.

I am really confused why so many people keep repeating this.

When they changed honor to a permanent achievement in 2.0 (patch before BC) they said it won't be deleted, like money. I guess though that there will be heavy inflation, I assume *2 or something so stacking honor won't be as effective but still viable. And if they keep introducing new honor gear all the time I bet it will be even out after 1 or 2 seasons.

Arena Points also never got reset yet, but they might decide differently. I hope they clarify soon, before I do silly stuff like S3->S4 wand upgrade instead of keeping points for Wrath of the Lich King.

Yeah, Honor did not reset towards The Burning Crusade and i do not expect it to happen towards Wrath of the Lich King.

Atm i have 100 marks each on my main, grinding some AV to fill the last Honor to 70k (if I recall correctly there was the cap). I guess that i will do some Honor-Grind on my Pally too as soon as my Warlock reached the Max.

I've got most of the stuff I can get from honour. I really just use my lock to teach people a lesson, or farm more gold for epic flying funds on my pally.

Before season 4 came out, I rushed to max out honor/ arena points, get enough gold for epic gems, and get the mats for enchants. Took me about a month or so for the honor points, primals for enchants, gold, etc... As far as arena points go, it depends on your rating.

But as someone above said, there will probably be heavy inflation and personally, i'd rather have fun in pvp than work hard to amass a ton of honor points.

And if you do decide to grind the 75k honor... be sure to have a tv, music, and lots of energy drinks nearby. It really helps when your dealing with morons trying to rush van every game.
