How often do you mana to solo multiple players in PvP?
I'm not talking about taking your level 70 to a low level area and one shotting a bunch of 30s at the same time. I'm talking about either in BGs, arena or world pvp managing to solo multiple players your level.
I still have a lot to learn in pvp since I really just got into it at the start of season 4. Granted, since the season started it's just about all I've done in game. I'm to the point now where I rarely lose a 1v1 matchup when I start with full health/mana. Rogues and druids usually run away if I can't kill them fast enough. Paladins sometimes keep the fighting going long enough for help to arrive (for either side). But pretty much everyone else I manage to take out by myself just fine. Lately I've been finding myself able to solo multiple level 70s in battlegrounds more and more. Yes, I know BGs are full of scrubs in greens, with rogues wearing cloth and mages socketing for +crit (not spell crit), but sometimes I just have to believe that I'm actually putting up the good fight. The first time I remember doing it was in EotS. 2 horde - shaman/druid - were guarding FRR so I ran around the back side and sent my pet after the totems while I just kept running and dotting. I timed my spell locks well and probably got a little lucky too. Before I knew it they were both dead and I still had near 50% health. Tonight it happened twice. The first (and most impressive) time was in AB. I had just helped finish off a few horde on my way to the farm and was low on health and mana, so I sat down to eat. When I reached 65% health and 50% mana a shaman road up and started to attack. I immediately spell locked his lightning bolt and began dotting. I detected a rogue trying to sneak up behind me and dotted him too (curse of weakness). I deathcoiled the rogue, then used my macro to pop my BM trinket and healthstone at the same time. The shaman was under 1k health and trying to cast a heal. I spell locked it and watched him die. I then reapplied dots on the rogue and began to drain, only to see the shaman self-rez. Immediately my pet went back on the shaman while I dotted and drained him. The shaman died again, quickly so I went back to try to finish off the rogue. A few seconds later my dots had run their course and he was dead. I was at 34% health and 6% mana. I was proud of myself. Later on in EotS again I managed to solo defend BE while being attacked by a rogue and feral druid. I'll admit that neither got the jump on me. I saw them both when stealthed and initated combat with dots. The druid never decursed himself or the rogue. When the rogue was nearly dead the druid shifted out to heal (healing touch) and I spell locked him. Without the heal the rogue died. A little draining and a shadow trance later the druid was gone too. There was a bit of trinketing, fearing, deathcoiling and other details I left out of course. If only it could be as easy to pvp as it is to farm mobs. But then where would the challenge be? It doesn't happen often, but when it does it makes you feel like the king of the world, even when you know that you were more than likely up against a couple of scrubs with no gear. |

Re: How often do you mana to solo multiple players in PvP?
I know what you mean. BG killing is almost as fun and easy as going to Duskwood and ganking lowbies. Warlocks really have a lot of utilities for tanking on multiple mobs. Most players who play our anti-class the rogue have no clue how to play their toons. The instant you run up against someone who knows how to play a rogue, in decent gear, there's nothing you can do.... sometimes even hoping to get lucky doesn't work. I duel my brother all the time, who plays a rogue. And he rocks me everytime. Unless i force him to blow all his cooldowns, then we duel right afterwards. And even then its still kinda tough. Its amazing how quickly a good rogue can burn through 14k hp with 492 resilience....

I love going into the fray taking out groups or 2-4 people at the same time, specially if they are under-geared :D Then again I'm sporting 4/5 Brutal set, and all the guardian pieces LOL! But yeah Denegra is right, I go up against a rogue using decent weapons (vengeful or blades of azzinoth) and I'm pretty much screwed. More so if it was a rogue + warrior + healer hahah good luck living through that.

Guys pls. If you keep on talking how OP we are in PVP, we may be gifted with another nerf bat.
![]() Besides it is very difficult to get even one rogue who knows how to play. You have be ice cold and your timing must be perfect. Even though it is 30% - 70% chance. About multiple opponents, I have my easiest time against caster DPS combos. Shamans, Druids, Mages even Spriest couples are easier than one rogue, warrior or hunter. |

Now obviously good hunters, warriors and rogues know when to bash, kick, silencing shot, etc. and that makes things a lot harder. Honestly, one of the most frustrating things with a rogue - besides being stunlocked for 12 seconds and watching 13k health go bye-bye - is for him to kill your pet, then blind you while he bandages. It's that helpless feeling because there's nothing you can do about it even though he's right there in front of you. |

If the player is decent and has decent gear, you should not be able to kill multiple players in PvP alone.
Obviously, against fresh 70s, there is always a good chance. |

Re: How often do you mana to solo multiple players in PvP?
Curse of Exhaustion makes it possible to DOT up a whole pack of people and run of them. Maximum was 2 warriors and 1 hunter who had already trinketed and I was able to keep them on distance all the time and Siphon Life / Corruption did the rest. They were at 50% though, still a fairly dominant feeling.

Re: How often do you mana to solo multiple players in PvP?
the best feeling is running up on someone in bg's 1v1 and having them immediately turn back and run away.
i can just imagine the real person sitting in front of their monitor as my red name comes up on the screen thinking "oh f***." |
