![]() Seriously, my main problem was without mana feed my Succy kept going OOM at critical moments. The pitiful mana returns from lifetap gets a little fustrating when your lucky enough to get some heals your way. |

Re: locks might not be broken but....
Thanks all, first chance i have I'll try out destro, had an idea that might help and why i mentioned i hadn't tried that in my OP. I almost posted this on the WOW forums but knew what I'd get. Quick thoughts on changes I would make if in charge: For all specs. Demonic Circle as i noted, can use when stunned/CC'd and removes all spells/poison/debuffs. Low level talent or part of Fel/Demon armor, increase your stamina by x% of sta on gear. If blizz wants to have all roll on the same gear fine, but we need to pick up stamina somewhere. Spec Affliction- Glyph of UA makes it instant cast and longer duration, but cuts damage done, that way PVE wouldn't scream if it's done with a glyph. PVE same as always, PVP thrown on the run and used to protect against dispell. (oh and because i'm dreaming, make that REMOVED, not just dispelled. Utter BS to just have time to get that up and watch it "removed" and no consequences.) Demo- Glyph of Bannish also gives you an X% chance to resist being bannished in Demon form. Buff the damn pets so they don't get 1-2 shotted. Dest- Never played too deep, but i know shards are a PITA. So stackable shards and cut need on some spells. No sac now, fine Buff the damn pets so they don't get 1-2 shotted. I don't think any of those are unreasonable, and might be a little glue on the crack forming.

Re: locks might not be broken but....
Hi people. I feel the same way. Pally's just maul me, rogues get a hold of me and thats it, and Mage's, who I alway took out with out a problem, blast me away. Oh, and if I use the only spell that gives us a chance, fear, they trinket out and are right next to me and I get killed anyway. I really liked playing my lock. It was my first character. Leveling and playing in BG's at the lower levels, I always did good. Even in real world PVP if I was attacked, I could defend myself. I just want a fair chance. Is there a build out there that can help? Or are we getting some spells from 70 to 80 that can bridge the gap? I really feel at the bottom of the food chain. Doing dailies, I feel I am a big target, everyone goes for the easy lock. I have to sneak around and run from the other fraction when I see them to get my stuff done. I have not decided to get my lock up (who is my main), when the expansion hits, or just give up and level an alt. Maybe even go death knight (seems kind of lockish but can wear plate). Now I think of it, I have a druid at 58 who just got to outland, and doing the first few quest, I have not died yet, but my lock took a beating till I got better gear. Maybe that should tell me something. |

Re: locks might not be broken but....
I toughed it out through beta, and may hang tight until the first major patch of Wrath, but sadly I feel like it's time to move on. Wrath is beautiful, and I think it will generate a lot of money for Blizzard, but I am just not enjoying my Warlock any more. Honestly, even if we got our relative DPS back or some PvP survivability at this point, the class homogenization overall is probably at the root of my recent loss of fascination with the game. This isn't a warlock-specific QQ, or a doom and gloom thing. It's just a philosophical rejection of the direction the game is taking. In any case, the Den has been a great home over the years, and there's been a ton of great information imparted and shared here. I'd like to thank Akasha and my former colleagues in the school of shadow for the companionship though the good times and bad. |
