Potions/Healthstones and PvP(i.e Dueling)

On a loosely related note, anyone know what Blizzard's thinking was by not allowing Horde?alliance trading via the AH?

Is there some sinister plot that is risked by allowing it?

Hmmm ...

I thought that though both factions could *USE* the Gadget AH, that you could only see items for sale by characters from *YOUR* faction.

I know in Beta it was that way, at least a couple of us tested it (Open Beta).

Has anyone actually tested it? It'd be great if it was designed to work that way.

You can make a small fortune selling your factions pets to the opposing faction. Faction unique cooking recipes go for a decent amount, too.

Deffinately can cross trade in Gadgetzan - I ran Thor's little Tauren Hunter there the other night with my Night Elf priest and 'passed' stuff across by putting it up for Auction with really low buy outs, as we sit beside each other he would see when it went up, buy it out.

BTW, before anyone says it's not allowed for that way hehe, I emailed Blizzard and asked directly, it's not breaking any rules. :D

I always hate when purists try to tell me how to play my game. If I want to twink, hehee, I will. Good for you, Akasha. The developers knew exactly what they were enabling when they made Gadgetzan.

So what did you get him? Hehee, Im so nosy.

Heh well actually, I emailed him because we found a slight bug, and not wanting to /bug it in game and get in trouble (incase what we were doing was wrong) I emailed him instead. (<~ sneaky)

That's when I found out it wasn't wrong, but the bug was in fact a bug. Also too, for those wanting to make the switch to the other side, another trick is to find some crappy item, put it up for sale with a buy out of like 10 gold (or what ever you have) and then have the other side buy it out. So Thor's Hunter could put up a snake for 50 gold, I buy it out for 50 gold and then he gives me 50 gold with Ire :D

Besides, you can't really 'twink' in here like you could in EQ... things are level limited, but you can be at the top of your game at all times, and that's just darn fun.

BTW, wow on how off topic this thread got... Lucky it's an old one :D

Hehee...that is basically the easiest way to do it. BTW, 50G is twinking of the first order. No level limits to worry about, not scrambling for cash for next level abilites, ammo, eq...etc. Just fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants, fun!

Wayyyy off-topic, hehe.

i treat duels as i treat pvp in general, anything goes
there is no such thing as cheating in a street fight
and there is no such thing as cheating in anything when you fight another player
