I've run my PVE specs Aff/Destro in BGs with success. One just has to be careful and keep a watchful eye out. Stay at range and wind up. Just do not stay in one spot too long. Before the expansion I was loving deep affliction with all the instant dots. I would run, dot, run. Stopping to lower the ax on the poor soul caught low on health. Currently, I cast from afar and tend to focus on healers, banishing trees, and cursing everyone else. With the few mismatched peices I have for PVP I do real well. The PVP trinkets are a must have for breaking stuns/snares. Don't forget tailors have nets that really throw a wrench into a melee's plan.  The other night I had a dedicated preist follow me after I saved him from death by tossing a a quick DC, followed by some rightous spell combos  on his attacker. So quick thinking can help. I recently joined a PVP guild and paln of focusing on BGs and moving into arenas. I have some great verteran PVPers who are going to mentor me. After I respec for PVP I will do better, but I am in deep need of macros and some key-bound attacks too. I have a truckload of Valor badges, and honor to spend so we will see what next week brings lol
